Fister back to DL, Crosby called up.

My pitchers are starting to flatten out in that league. I've been working them too hard.

Byco, you have the best record,
I'm trying to get back to .500 just not enough power, and need a few more saves.

And. quite frankly, I'm shocked with the players on my team. But we have great chemistry and the room is harmonious. Good leadership and no off-field issues. It takes 25 players to win a Fantasy Baseball championship. And the guys who are injured have been picked up by the guys who normally wouldn't get regular innings.

Is the the "Mr. I God Bless You" league? I'm in there...Tucson Sandstorm...

I'm hanging a tad above .500. I seem to go 4-5-1 or 6-4 or 4-4-2 every week. Never had a real bad beat-down though I've never had a great week either. Better hitting than pitching. Too many injuries.

Nah, not really, you jackass. Where am i intentionally tanking by the way? The FREE Yahoo league where i autopicked my team? Go **** yourself, gomer.

I was just joking, but you made it clear who the jackass is in the way you and your buddy handled that.

Nope, not really. There was no way in deleting my team. Cry about it though....

I'm not crying about it, just pointing out that you handled the situation like a jackass. All you had to do was tell the commissioner you wanted out.

I'm in it too...missed the draft so I tried to improve my team through trade. Getting Lincecum might not have been the best idea.

There are quite a few good players out there on the wire that have gone unnoticed, IMO. I'd like to grab them, but there's no room on my team for them.

People get way too excited about free fantasy baseball. I check once a week and make very few transactions. I don't want to do more than that.

I approach it as a learning tool. It also helps me keep track of the players in MLB. When I was a kid, it was box scores and the leader's stats in the paper. Now, it's this.

When I was growing up my Dad used to always tell me "if I studied my school work as much as I do the stats I'd get straight A's." Lol. I used to spread the news out on the floor and just look at box scores for hours.

The good old days.

I've been hoping I could ride out the storm and wait for some injured players to get healthy, but it's getting ridiculous. Would love for there to have been another DL and/or bigger bench, but I guess it's time to deal with reality and make some moves if I'm going to have weeks like the last one.

When I was in 3rd grade I got a Rotisserie Baseball book from the library. Started my own league with my brothers and a couple friends, transcribing stats from the paper every day. I loved it.

Me and my friend used to play micro league baseball and then earl weaver baseball. We'd start a league with 26 teams and go through our encyclopedia of baseball for hours looking for the best of each team career and then type in each seasons stats for each person every season of their career.

Man, did that take a long time but was freakin awesome. Could learn a lot about baseball doing that.

This brand of Earl Weaver baseball?

Anyone know when Fister is scheduled to return? ESPN says Wednesday against the Cubs, but I don't trust them.
