Game 10: Raiders @ Lions Thread

If you go off raw numbers like that Grantland article, you never ice them anyway. In most cases, it improves their accuracy.

Exactly. There's not a kicker in the league who wouldn't want a practice kick. I have no stats to back it up but i could see it being a better strategy in college because those kickers suck and are young and could let the pressure get to them knowing their entire college community is counting on them...although the Michigan State kid buried it yesterday.

Oh so they finally show the replay, and it's a crock of shit.

We need to do something to change the culture of shitty referees in Detroit. If you make a call like that in Detroit you should be shot. just shoot them....

They took a pick off the board for that absolute terrible holding call. I hate officials. They are worthless

Refs go out of their way to screw us. It's the only thing that makes sense. Has Oakland been called for anything?

That holding call on Lawson was total crap, coach needs to get in the zebras face when they make bad calls like that

do you know who our coach is?

Caldwell: "stuff like that happens. I didn't see it. It is what it is."

Since the refs refuse to acknowledge the raisers existence on the field than so do i.

Really though, does screaming at a ref improve the bad call next time, or encourage them to screw you over more?

I know if some guy was in my face, boy would I be happy throwing that flag later when he needed the play.

Michigan's season proves that. Michigan has had two upheld targeting calls upheld and three overturned. All of the overturned ones looked a lot more like targeting than the ones on Michigan. But the refs like sticking it to Harbaugh.
