Game 10 Tigers vs. indians April 10, 2018

Who said disproportionate. I'm not saying have all games in the west. Start off with Detroit in Texas and then LAA in Detroit for example. Its not going to be perfect for all 30 Teams. But there's more than that.. Just think of those fans on opening day, game called off and can't make it for Friday. Does MLB always have to be about the money?

it's a scheduling problem. There is an unbalanced schedule due to each team playing 19 divisional games. Detroit has to play 47% of it's games in divisional cold weather venues. That doesn't include Boston, NYY and Baltimore. There is no way around it. How would it be fair for the AL west to host a disproportionate number of games in April when attendance is bad for all teams?

I guess if it's bad for all teams shouldn't it be fairish (Is that a word)? I guess I see it as teams are more likely to get cancelled games in cold weather stadiums in April.. the fans pay for it.

But fair enough, Tom.

That's just the way it is when you live in a northern city. If I remember correctly, you live in AZ. I don't think it's "fair" that people in AZ can golf all year round...but I chose to live in the midwest...life's a bitch for me ;)

Nice comparison but try golfing when it's 110-120 and tell me again we can golf all year around. Lol.
