Bobby Scales on the radio broadcast
“Have not heard that sound off JB’s bat in a long time.”.

Greene in a funk right now. He wasn’t close to any of those pitches.

Did you guys know 1926-28 the tigers had Carl Hubbell in the farm system but that he his farme was too slight of frame . They ran out of minor league options . Sam Greene who ever he is said he looked good for the Tigers in Augusta in 1926. Guess not good enough
HOF Hubbell went 253-154 for the Giants 1928-43. Imagine him on those 1934-35 and 1940 tiger teams. Two of those were World Series losses.

Foley throws a sinker right in the middle of the strike zone to Josh Naylor, who hits a double. Let's hope that's the end of the hitting this inning. Chafin comes in, and strikes out Scheeman. Still 3-0 Tigers after 7.

We spoke about this Bob. Cobb didn't want him throwing that screwball while he was managing the Tiges.

Madris hits a double to open up the ninth inning. Let's see if the next three hitters (with a combined ops of around .550) can capitalize.

Another horse shit at bat with a runner on 2nd and no outs.

Why not bunt Mckinstry so all you need is a sac Fly in the 9th ?
You can Play small ball sometimes. Who knows if he scores on that dribber now.

nope, we couldn't even get him to third. To be fair, Cleveland's pitcher has an era of 1.23.

Why do always want guys to bunt? Bunting is mostly worthless and they're no good at it.

Ok, let's get this guy out; if we don't, Naylor comes up to the plate as the tying run.
