18 per for flowers is not ignored. He likes romeo owkara and he had produced. Griffen trade also. Signed him in august you would have loved that too. Dt and jack injuries the problems. Kennard was his first shot, bryant his 2nd and j owkara his 3rd. All failed. Dt was nick williams who has battled injuries

Who knows. Taco over ragnow would be absolute fail. Oluver over hock. Who knows. Oliver could have opted out, gotten hurt or not fit the scheme here and sucked. If ed oliver was in this team i guarantee you would say he sucked while hock excelled elsewhere

Flowers isnt a pass rusher. And if thats how you label him : 1) youre wrong 2) you're dumb 3) hes one of the worst pass rushers in the league.

Flowers is a de and can pass rush. And is supposed to more. So pass rush not ignored. Flowrrs 8th overall and 20th rabked out of 96..which is good. So he is a pass rusher clearly

Build from the ground up. In 2014 the lions were 11-5 321/282 in points allowed which on offense was ranked 22nd in points scored and defense was 3rd in points allowed if I looked at it right.

Build from ground up and everything should fall into place !!!

Dodds from Indy is best choice. Mayhew and Xanders on this list. You guys hated them too of course. You hate anyone way too quikcly once they join Lions organization

I think most fans give the hires a chance but turn on them because they end up being terrible. The most recent are Quinn and Patricia. They are both terrible. You defended them up until about a week ago but now you have learned what everyone else on this board knew about 18 months ago. Both are pretty clueless.

If I have to put blame Patricia gets about 85% of the blame Quinn about 160% of the blame. And each player around 28% of the blame. Minus a couple.

Our top receiver catches 4 jump balls a game and is worst in the league at creating separation.

Edit....oh and i forgot hes also the guy thats been standing on the sidelines for like 8 weeks this year but wants to be paid $18 mil/yr.

Good reason: their record sucks...Every year. Their drafts dont produce....every year. Their QB doesnt win...every year. Their defense cant get to the qb...every year.

a majority of us are extremely close in calling their W/L record before the season even starts....every year.

This Defense is terrible. This coach is terrible. Quin is terrible. And were overpaying an average QB going on his 13th season. None of that is a winning formula.

see, you are drawing your own conclusions without knowing shit.

After Patricia gets fired (and probably Quinn) there will very likely be at least 30% roster turnover...so we will not know if it was just coaching. Also, the next GM keeping Stafford doesn't mean he likes what he sees on tape. It could be a business decision, he could feel that there is no better alternative, or he could have a different long term plan.

If players who did bad under patricia, start to play well, it can be coaching. More individual than team..there is 30 percent turnover most years. Lions changed a ton coming into this season. Hand, Walker, Okudah, Harris, Tavai specifically is where to look for any coaching improvement Oline could remain similar so will see if that improves with new coaching and new oc

Another gm picking stafford over the rookie or fa crop shows he is good player. Everyone knows stafford is good

But who do you guys blame..is it more on the coaches or do you blame the players
