Game 11: Vikings @ Lions *Thanksgiving* Thread

Rooting guide

Chargers over Cowboys
Giants over Redskins

Bucs over Falcons
Jets over Panthers
49ers over Seahawks
Steelers over Packers
Probably Saints over Rams

That's probably not a good schedule for us.. Some of them look like no brainers. But I see Seattle, and Atlanta losing.

Defense played plenty good enough verses the Steelers . When is Stafford gping to win a big game ?
5-47 verses teams with winning records . Embarssing we can't get a line or find a decent running back.

Team effort man, lions are a habitually a mediocre team, with glaring weaknesses in several spots.

I’m looking forward to the excuses this week though, should be good

I know Detroit's been on a bit of streak with Thanksgiving games but in their history, right around .500. That's pretty sad - a game that should have a huge advantage for Detroit.

Honestly, what does getting into a wild card do for this franchise? They'll get in, get whacked, and go home.

They aren't ready for the big leagues.

there is no excuses... Stafford played like shit today. Way too many off throws. Held onto the ball too long. 2 turnovers. 0 turnovers for keenum. Keenum basically shut it down the entire 2nd half and Zimmer didn't even flinch.

I don't think they get waxed, but definitely lose

There's nothing for me to believe that they wouldn't get stomped, other than blind optimism.

The defense plays like shit against even bad teams. We beat bad teams solely because of Stafford. I'd be fine replacing everybody on defense outside of maybe Quin and Slay.

Sadly the Lions are 0-4 verses winning teams at home .

Panthers
Falcons
Pittsburgh
Minnesota.

0-4

Nice work Jimmy c.

I'm not sure that's a glowing seal of approval for our QB. Just once I'd like to see him take a game over vs a good team and win.

The last 3 weeks we started the game down 10-0, 10-0 and 13-0. That obviously can't keep happening. And then the defense has been immediately shitting the bed on the first drive of the 3rd quarter.

Considering we root for a historically bad franchise, anything near .500 is actually a step in the right direction -- even with home field advantage.

I don't believe the Ravens are a worrisome game but I'd worry about the Bears game after..
