When Stafford is on point he’s a joy to watch, and there were glimpses of that Thursday. Overwhelming from start to finish, though, this was a scattergun performance from Stafford with some of his worst accuracy of the season. Stafford had 10 incompletions due to inaccurate passes, including an overthrow to Golden Tate that could have tied the game in spite of his struggles. Those 10 inaccurate incompletions on 35 targets comfortably made for Stafford’s worst inaccurate rate of the season.

Team just wasn't prepared to play. Typical pattern under Caldwell and his staff. Matt missed plenty of passes before his injury . He is 5-47 verses wining teams . His comebacks come verses crappy team's. He is elite all right . Verses the teams like the his own shitty lions.
Eagles, Saints, panthers , and vikings were all worse then the Lions last season and yet all of them are passing us with blazing speed.. oh and the Vikings are doing it with a 3rd string qb lol.... Lions get a gift with the AR being hurt Twice and can't take advantage. They don't seem to understand they can't run with these backs and still do nothing at the deadline. Jim Bob is a horrible OC . The guy can't call his way out of a paper bag . Pass to set up the run you nimrod . Caldwell is the worst in game Manager I have every seen. Misses easy replay calls . Goes for it when he should punt. He is so bad it's not even funny anymore . Way to go Jimmy 10 men on the field for one of Minnesota td's.. just classic lions .

Dude they have the 4th best passing offense in the league. It was so good today they were able to shut it completely off the entire 2nd half and still won by a touchdown. Keenum completely outplayed Stafford today.... it's not even a question.

All I'm saying is that Keenum isn't a better QB. Not hard to understand....lol

Keenum threw for 2 and ran for 1. 21 points for their QB. 14 for ours.

Keenum had more time and made some big plays in first half. Nothing in second really. Run game only td for Vikings in second half

Lions just couldn't make the two big plays they needed. Stafford injury did not help. He was on fire then suddenly off after the injury

It's another dumb fucking rule that needs to be addressed. Wtf is a catch anymore? Just hold onto the damn ball until you get to the fucking sidelines because I don't know lol

Can we all agree Keenum is a legit starter now though. Better than Bridgewater ever was, and better than the flatfooted Sam Bradford. The Viking are LUCKY they lost both other qbs. Keenum is a solid qb on a very talented Vikings team. If the Vikings don't fall apart they can and will do some damage in the playoffs. This season is a testament that the Lions work is nowhere near done and us not winning the division is a good thing. There's glaring holes on this team that NEED to be addressed this off season. If we won the division, do you guys actually think these holes and deficiencies get addressed? I don't, I think a blind eye is turned. I can't watch this shit anymore. Constantly digging yourself into a hole and hoping our qb can dig us out of it. Its fucking disgusting. Get this shit right for next year, or clean house, excluding Stafford, who is the rock of this team.

Good post. If we miss the playoffs, I'd like nothing more than for us to scrap our coaches. We're competing despite them. Quin has got to see this, if not, the Fords picked the wrong guy for the job. I haven't seen or heard from Quinn since he took over. Pretty sure the Fords turned him into a robot, so he could be more like Caldwell

+1 to hating Caldwell. It was the worst decision to extend that bum. I like Stafford and think we can win with him. No, he isn't brady or rodgers. He's next tier to me, like most of the league. He just needs a good team around him.

But so far 9 years and we haven't. The reason he isn't elite, I'd put him barely above average (but that's another argument), it's his inconsistent play that prevents him from being really good.
