Game 13: Bears @ Lions Thread

Minnesota in a close game against JAX but will probably win. Any Minnesota loss and they're eliminated against the Lions because of the tie breaker, right?

Bears friend of mine just texted me, "I never thought I'd see the day where the refs were actually calling plays for your team in the clutch, this could be your year."

Yup NFL has finally decided to let lion fans come up for air..how far they let the hope go remains to be seen. Lol

Defense came up big again. Giving up 10 points is huge.

Nice to be on the good side of a few borderline calls. 9-4 feels good.

So do we want the packers to win to help the chances for a #2 seed or Seattle to help decrease the odds of blowing this yet?

Yes, I still want the Packers to win. Still have the 2 game buffer and the chance at the two seed. Screw the whole "let's play it safe." It's not often that all the stars align for a team, and who knows the Lions could suck next year.

Would rather take the division and be guaranteed at least one home playoff game. Fuck the first round bye. Seahawks better wake the fuck up.

Further clarification. Chances are we lose the next two games. You really want another winner takes the division against GB even if it is at home? Screw that. There's not enough alka-seltzer or nitroglycerin in the world to make that worth it....for me, personally.

Why do you think we lose the next two? Our defense has been outstanding lately, so I'm not really scared of the G-Men, esp without JPP on D, and Dallas might be disinterested (compared to earlier in the season).

I hate routing for the fudge Packers, but that gets us the 2 seed. Win 2 games and no matter what we take the division

A-Rod looking pretty gimpy out there. Hopefully Seahawks can get a couple of big hits in at some point.

You think it's gonna be sunny and 76 in New York next week? Bad conditions more than likely and with that bad hand for Matt don't make for a good recipe for success. And I can't see them duplicating what they did to Drew Brees and co. against the Boys. We haven't faced a RB like Ezekiel Elliot this year.
