Get StartedHe was in a good position just didnt get his head around.
At least he didnt do the finger wag when he broke up a pass late in the game after being beat up on for 3 quarters
Yep, in the past our dipshit corners would've celebrated breaking up a pass after being destroyed all game. Slay got humbled this week, which might be a good thing. Hopefully this just motivates him.
Makes me think back to Roy Williams damn first down celebration as we are getting pounded
Which one of them caught that TD against their neck? What a circus catch.
I'm not asking him to be great every week, but you can have a down week without looking like a rookie making your first start. Jackson owned him on his way to his best game of the season.
Bell was averaging close to 1.5 YPC before the big run. To me bell isn't a RB you like to have a bunch of 0-2 yard runs in anticipation of him breaking a 50+ run. He is better suited to routinely get the 3-5 yards and occasionally break a 20+ yarder. His best games to me is when he isn't trying to dance, just running hard and straight.
I'm not quite as down on Bush as everyone here seems to be. I still think he can add a bit of value to this team the remainder of this year and next. I expect him to be gone in 2016. Not sure Riddick is completely ready to become part of a 1-2 RB rotation.
I hope Bush is gone. Tired of seeing him on the injury report and missing games. Riddick or a high round RB next year has to be the way to go.
Abdullah or Gordon would be awesome. Do we keep Bell if we draft one of them though? I'm thinking no. I'd rather see Riddick stay. I wouldn't even mind Winn staying if we want to keep a power back.
I haven't watched much college football this year. However I thought the knock on Gordon was he couldn't catch out of the backfield. True? That doesn't seem like a fit for the Lions.
forget about drafting a RB in the first 3 rounds.
OL, DT, CB in any order.
With a good OL you don't need that "special" RB.
We need more than 1 OL to improve on that. LG and RT..at least.
Move Swanson back to center, replace sims and I think we're good.
A healthy Waddle is good enough. So you've given up on him cuz he's gotten dinged up this year?
what's the deal with everyone wanting to move a very solid LT to RT. he doesn't get beat, he's fundamentally sound and he's played very well, yet lets move him to a new position in hopes that a rookie is the better player. why not just focus on drafting a RT if that's what you want, esp at the mid/late 20's.At least that's what I see..probably pick to late to get a good LT but personally if we could I'd grab one and move Reiff to RT.

and for once, why are you even thinking about the draft when we're in the thick of a playoff race? for once, focus on the now, not the future.
