Game 13: Lions @ Rams Thread

Meh....doesn't matter really? CJ maybe but cmon. Stafford? He's a joke to most of you. Why should his opinion matter? Lol

I like stafford, he is not the problem, we could do so much worse I think it would be a huge mistake to part ways with him...the giant problem with this team is the offense line is a huge joke

I mean I think the best guy we got on that line right now is ola and this is a guy they just picked up off the waiver wires a few weeks ago that nobody else wanted what does that tell you bout the rest of that clown car line...

Thank you. Borderline. That's all that needed to be said.

And I will stick by my statement. I don't want to hear from Eric Ebron. Crying about officiating is just a horrible look. That play didn't mean dick in the long run with this game. You don't deserve to win when you are down 21-7 to the freaking Rams.

Exactly! Borderline! You've changed your stance 3 times now lol. 1. He tripped over his own feet. 2. He was barely touched. 3. Now you agree it was borderline? Bottom line is that Ebron felt like he was interfered with and he spoke his mind. But you'd rather have a guy keep his mouth shut because he isn't Tom Brady..lol. Classic!!

Stafford is going to get run out of Detroit. I have always been a Stafford guy, but being a QB in this city is equivalent to career suicide. There's so much "more" wrong with this team but the focus is always on the QB. Total bullshit....

It would matter to the refs and NFL. They think highly of him..

Maybe. I wont argue that but according to dubbsco, only high end players are allowed to cry about officiating. Then in the same breath, he tells me that crying about officiating is a "horrible look". So maybe you're right. Or wrong....? Now i dont know...

Nope, borderline is all I needed to hear. I thought it was a fine no-call, and you admitting it was borderline can go either way, which Ebron did not say. He was just whining that it was 100 percent PI and awww poor Detroit gets nothing.

I haven't changed my stance once. You are the king of that. Love Ebron, hate him, now he's good, now I understand, now I hate the pick again. I didn't think it was PI, and I think he's an idiot for opening his mouth. Do something in the league, then you can talk. Until then, he can't. That's the way of professional sports. No one would give a damn if Kyle Singler opened his mouth in the NBA, but ears would perk if Lebron or Kobe speak up. That's the pecking order.

Here's a novel thought. Start making some plays rather than every game coming down to some controversial call.

You're an idiot lol

You changed your stance 3 times. Read your fkn shit. Ya. Never changed my stance once on Ebron. Ya see, i know football. Unlike you. 1...i never wanted Ebron. 2. I never liked the pick because i wanted Lewan. 3....i "understood" the pick because JL wanted an athletic TE to "run the offense" from. 4....Lombardi failed. 5...Ebron struggled in his rookie year. Everybody on planet earth knew he would. You? Not so much. 6....he's improved from last year. Its a step in the right direction. People like you dont get that. Is he Gronk? Nobody is.....sorry. But he's getting better but he has a long way to go. He's not a bust. And pecking order my ass....if he thought he was interfered with then he deserves to chirp. You ever hear him complain about the refs before? I haven't...maybe he has...idk. Im glad he chirped.....enough is enough.

Only 5 losing seasons compared to Millen's 8.

Progress

There was really nothing borderline. Guys feet hit. Show me a time when that is called.

The throw wasn't catchable it landed far out of bounds. All because our C and QB can't communicate.

It was just another play that was nothing but failure by the lions.

No but it would mean more if it came from CJ or Matt, Like it or not that's the NFL.

Sorta like earlier in the game when the defensive back walled off cj to his route ten yards downfield? I didn't realize you could jam someone that far down. This is the nfl to me..when we played Green Bay...McCarthy was ripping the refs over and over again for our man coverage. Then shortly after a timely pi call on absolutely nothing. The good teams complain and get what they want. Nowwww.. I don't think we lost most of our games by the refs... But that shit does get annoying to watch.

Please site on this thread when I changed my mind?? I said he was an idiot for opening his mouth and that it wasn't a PI. I got happy to hear you say borderline because that basically puts your argument on ice. I don't want to hear players on this team who haven't done anything in the league open their mouth about borderline calls.

Yeah, you said that. You also said that "he tripped over his own feet", "he was barely touched" and it "was a borderline PI". That's called flip flopping. And Ebron was on the field. Not you or myself. He felt like he was interfered with. He has every right to complain about it. Who the fuck are you to tell people that you dont want to hear him complain? You're nobody....remember that.

How is that flip flopping? That's all the components of the play. He tripped over his own feet, the dude gave him a half assed push in the back. I got excited when you said borderline because you put a huge dent in your own argument.

I don't want to hear this Detroit vs us bullshit. When the team stops being a laughingstock, maybe they'll get some calls. I wonder if the other teams in the bottom of the NFL complain about officials as much as we do? Cleveland vs everybody? San Fran vs everybody?

So what if i said borderline??? Ebron felt like he was interfered with. End of story. The guy hasn't complained about officiating before from what i can remember. You're so bent on hating the pick that you cant stand the kid...lol. Talk about childish...lol.

And i dont give a flying fuck about the Browns or the 49ers. Or any other team for that matter. TWO games STOLEN from us this year by officiating. And thats a fact

Nah, don't want to hear that. Seattle still had almost two minutes to march down the field and score. Calvin still fumbled, did he not?

And Green Bay, come on. Coaching lost the Lions that game, plain and simple.

Because when your bust of a 1st round pick is bitching about borderline officials, that's bad. Someone needs to get to him and tell him to shut his damn mouth.
