The Bears need to address the O-line first. I would drop Cutler though...hell...McCown put up monster numbers with the Bears last year. They should be able to find someone to perform as good as or better than Cutler from the scrap heap...and for a lot less $$$

I don't think they will find a stud QB...just saying that any QB from the scrap heap will be able to fill the shoes of Cutler...he has been that bad. If I were them I would address the O-line & get rid of Cutler. Actually, I would probably blow it up a bit...they have no defense and a shitty O-line. Not sure what they could get in the trade market for Marshall or Forte but if I were a Bears fan I would endorse trading either of them if the price was right.

Their entire defense and offense needs to be rebuilt at this point. holding onto overpriced vets that aren't producing will only hinder them.

Think that is base salary. suh is highest cap hit this year, two QBs had higher cap hit than cutler. Bears structured Cutler where it's nothing (fee million) to cut him after next year. If they cut him after this season there would be a 19.5 cap hit. Not sure on their cap situation if they can absorb that next year.

Being able to back out the last 5 years for 3 million is team friendly.
