When talking about Defense only Scoring matter right? Same logic applied here:

Last three seasons:
Cutler 1.65 TD a game
Stafford 1.41 TD a game

Lovely thing about Stats you can use them to justify most points. You're punishing Cutler for missing games, when talking about Stafford you always reference 1st "so many games" because as you say he shouldn't be punished for missing games. If that is the case you need to use same logic for other players.
