If he gets credit for their recent success, he has to take the blame for the months that they sucked ass.
 
According to Fangraphs the percentage of chance for the Tigers to make the playoffs nearly doubled tonight following their win over the Royals and Twins loss to Guardians. Went from 9.8 percent to 18.1.

You're blaming him for Greene and Carpenter out with injuries, and Tork sucking, and 4/5's of the rotation out with injuries?
 
The Tigers are winning in September with some clutch performances:-
Colt Keith .319/.360/.340 in the month of September.
Montero: 14 IP scoreless innings, .227 batting average against.
Greene: batting .327 in the month of September.

no, I'm saying if you give him credit (which I am not) you have to give him blame as well. I'm not giving him either the credit or the blame. Just like when people give Fetter credit for the pitchers that have success but don't blame him for the pitchers that are shitty.

None of us in our wildest dreams would have thought at the beginning of the year if Detroit was running Skubal, 30 percent of Mize, Keider Montero, a few starts from Reese Olson and multiple multiple reliever games headed by the likes of Brant Hurter and Ty Madden would we then also have the best record in the AL in the last 40 percent of the season.

AJ absolutely deserves credit.
