The players don't tank. They just don't, and certainly if anyone tried to tell them to do as much, it would definitely reach the media. The coaches can't afford to tank - Caldwell should be fired anyway, but Cooter and Austin are still coaching for jobs in the future.

Anybody who is saying the team should lose isn't saying the team should pack it in, they are just hoping for a loss. As a fan, I'd rather the Lions lose today. But, like every Lions game that has ever taken place, I have no control over the result.
