Game 16: Lions @ Bears Thread

Good. That makes me laugh.

I will also laugh when Miami has to restructure his deal this off season......after 1 year....and guarantee that massive cap hit for years to come!!!!

Man, that is a BAD bad contract. If the new GM is not careful, this could turn into the worst signing in the history of football.

And I would put money down right now that says Suh refuses to restructure it. He's going to try to make them cut him outright in the next two years and get another crack at free agency. The coach and GM that signed him are no longer there... why would he still want to be there?

Hell, he seemed pretty unhappy when they WERE there.

I don't usually listen to Rotoworld for anything other than injury news, but man... the stats they just posted on Stafford....

Matthew Stafford completed 28-of-39 passes for 298 yards and three touchdowns in the Lions' Week 17 win over the Bears.

The Lions' season circled the drain during a brutal 1-7 start, but Stafford found new life after the Week 8 firing of OC Joe Lombardi. Under the direction of interim OC Jim Bob Cooter from Week 10 on, Stafford amassed a sterling 19:2 TD-to-INT ratio in Detroit's final eight games and completed nearly 70 percent of his passes during that stretch. A cupcake second-half schedule certainly played a role, however, while 30-year-old Calvin Johnson showed clear signs of decline. It's possible Stafford will be overvalued in 2016 fantasy drafts based on his red-hot finish. Either way, it's clear that Stafford isn't the problem in Detroit.

Dolphins hiring within the organization for their new vacant GM spot. Promoted Chris Grier, he was the teams College Scouting Director

Whitehead has become a very good NFL linebacker.....even if we did give up 27 7th round picks to get him!!

Dare I say the best player in the 2012 draft for the Lions. Some may make the case for Reiff but after this season it's close.

I still see 7 wins, another 3rd place finish, no division title and another no-playoff win.

Wow...Mr Positive strikes again. You been taking Hughes pills? You do know we get NFCE and AFCS next year?

What's to be positive about. Wins don't pass over to next season. So we play the NFCE and AFCS. Is that suppose to mean something to me?
