Game 16: Lions @ Packers Thread

I'm not even upset that we lost, we all pretty much figured that would happen. I am, however, beyond pissed off that the refs were making sure that we lost. I'm so sick of this protectionist bullshit the NFL creates; can't they just let the players themselves dictate the outcome?

Like down by contact when the first thing to contact the runner was an elbow into the ball? Like that

I agree I'm also very tired of this con job i think its time to stop letting these rigged games divert attention from what's really important on this prison plant

Lions have been and always will be the Rodney Dangerfields of the NFL. But in most cases very deservedly.

So I dunno if they are still the SOL, but they certainly can play out that script when necessary. What the franchise has failed to achieve over the decades truly defies logic and the odds. Its like falling overboard in the middle of an ocean off a ship ~50 times but never becoming shark food or drowning.

The Lions may have put up a high win total this season, but they're still pretenders in my eyes...at least until they start beating good teams, especially on the road.

They haven't beat a team with a winning record this season.

We didn't lose because of refs. Anyone who thinks that is just wrong.

Nope. They played like they always play against a good team. The refs didn't help but they had every chance to make it an actual game.

I don't think anyone can argue the Packers needed the refs help to win.

But I also have to admit, that was a horseshit call on the 2-point conversion that did affect the gambling line.

When refs make bad calls that affect those lines, I get a knot in my stomach every time. It's probably nothing, but damn it sucks to even have to think it.

Certainly it didn't have an impact on the win or loss... but it did make some people even richer.

Correct the lions lost becuase stafford sucked donkey balls and stupid ass Lombardi still thinks bush is worth a shit, however the stupid bullshit calls some even booth upheld sure didn't help, it was rigged into covering the spread the fucking game is rigged Mitch!

Remember when the refs made Bell fumble in the redzone. Stupid refs.

Weather we lost 30-20 or 23-20, it's a loss. Blaming the refs is an excuse, an lkp excuse.

If the game was rigged the calls would go in favor of the Lions. The ham and egger isn't the one who takes a dive. All the public money was on the Pack.

Someone in the booth review prolly had big money on it making sure those bullshit booth reviews held up

scoring 20 or less points for the 10th time this year probably has something to do with it. team is not good. don't get me wrong...were really good at barely winning vs shitty teams. But we wont be good in the playoffs....on the road.
