Game 16: Packers @ Lions *Sunday Night* Thread

It's unbelievable. I didn't think it was possible to watch a football game in which your team was dominated on both sides of the ball and come up with excuses.

Guess I was wrong.

We didn't get dominated on both sides of the ball. That is troll talk by you

Lions allowed 7 pressures on all of Staffords drop backs. Scored 24, missed a FG and had Hyde DPI on the redzone in order to get a pick. Tate OPI call was bullcrap too. Lions scored about 38

Defensively they made some stops, but Rodgers scrambled out of some pressure for 4 TDs and a long Crosby FG at end of half.

Packers will be long gone. Lions can run the table.

2nd half(the important half), we surely did get dominated on both sides of the ball. ZZ's second half tells the entire story

Lions scored 10 points and drove to Packers redzone. The pick was Hyde DPI on Tate not called.

Sack by Perry on our 2nd string RT. Just a miss to Roberts (bad finger)

Detroit- 160 yards
GB- 258 yards (including one full series where Rodgers took knees).

Dominated in the 2nd half. Period. End of discussion.

Packers 3 TD drives. Lions one TD, one would be TD if refs called it right and one FG drive. Pretty close.

Rodgers had some scrambles at right time. It wasn't domination

Damn. Just one missed DPI call and they would have won. Son of a bitch so close. Tell your friends, give Mike and Mike a call or something. Sound the horns.

4 of 7 losses. But it's ok. They are still in the postseason and can make a run at glory.

Lions dominated first and were close in second. OPI call on Tate in first and lack of DPI call on Hyde was the difference in the game.

Coaches don't seem to be capable of making adjustments quick enough after adjustments are made by the other team. Do they go into these games with a Plan A, B and C or just a plan A then try to figure out what to do 'if' the other team makes adjustments or do they just not have the coaches and personal needed to counter in game adjustments?

It's a cheap play by Rodgers. They will change this rule this offseason. It's cheap by Rodgers. He couldn't beat the Lions by making plays, he had to use cheap bullshit.

Also the OPI by Tate was bullshit. DPI by Hyde on the pick. And Bakhtiari the refs just let him hold all game.

Might be cheap but its legit. Rodgers is known to do this. Lions D needed to be smarter and quicker. You want to get mad? Get mad at Levy for lollygagging it to the sidelines.
I agree with ya on the Tate OPI. It was bs. Hyde was holding onto Tate as well. If anything, it should have been offset.
