Game 3: Lions @ Vikings Thread

What were we even doing on defense on that go ahead td lmao? You literally just have to keep them out of the end zone in a 1000% passing situation. We go man up press with no safety help lmao. And give up the game winner with no one within 10 yards of the wr?! Seriously... fire everyone.

Same old shit. But this time we let a big lead go away in a game we had won.

Sit Swift for a week. Start Justin Jackson or Reynolds. This offense is just different when he is out of the game. Williams is a fine short yardage runner, but I don?t want anything to do with him as an every down back.

You either punt or go for it and sadly Dan tried a fg and the lions still would have lost by 1 point.

We've had some absolutely horrible coaches here in my lifetime. But the decisions made in the last couple minutes of this game were the worst I've seen. You either punt or go for it there. Fg isn't even an option

Maybe I?m nuts but I actually don?t mind the FG call there. I expect an NFL kicker to make that the majority of the time. It?s the 3rd and a foot long pass attempt to Chark and the stupid run call on 4th down with a slow developing delayed handoff that I hated.

We go for it what... like 6 times on 4th down today? 4th n short to end the game. Let's kick a 56 yd fg that wouldn't even make it a 2 score game. Lmao... this team.

Exactly, that was the dumbest call out of the 3 options. He has never made a kick from that far.

My dad is in the hospital with Covid pneumonia and pre existing COPD and emphysema today was better than yesterday on that front at least, we watched the lions lose from his hospital bed today, and of all days I could have really used a lions victory to help keep some gas in my tank which I thought we were getting until 45 seconds left in the game I can?t even begin to tell you much this one really hurt.

I am so tired the lions being such a life long disappointment
