Try to block the punt.
It makes sense.

Did I hear that Indy went up tempo to change things up.... Holy crap why don't we do that??????
We would have just been screaming that they are idiots for going no huddle because now our defense can't rest at all after our 3 and outs.

And anyone with a brain.
Yeah much better than a run for no gain and two drops
I didn't say it was better or we shouldn't do it. I stated how the board would have reacted had we had 3 and outs with a no huddle.
I agree with you right up to when the Packers broke it open. To keep running it up the gut after that was too much.
I think this team is really on the verge of something great but minus CJ today they had to mix it up and just didnt. The D spent way to much time on the field and played incredibly well today. I know they gave up 22 points but only 2 bad plays and only one cost them significantly.
As far as trying to block a punt, couldn't Schwartz just call the play to block the damn punt? I don't see how a TO would help in blocking a punt..
The TO stopped the clock so you had a chance to block the punt. I think they could have ran it down to 0 without the TO and wouldn't have even had to punt.
Why? Granted I have no idea what play you're talking about but don't they have a play called "block punt"?
