Game 5: Lions @ Packers Thread

It was the last offensive play for GB. It was 4th down and the clock could have just expired. Schwartz used his last TO to force them punt. People said he was stupid for doing it because we were down 2 td's. If he doesn't call TO then GB just runs out the clock and the game is over. Instead they punted to us with 24 seconds left.

Ok thanks, I missed about half the game because every 2 minutes my Directv kept going out.

No calvin blows especially when the oline doesn't show up. They had 4 drives they were moving the ball but only got the garbage time td. I hope houston hamstring bothered him on the 83 yarder or that is bad. Cobb and jones made two plays to win it.

Houston looked fine running after him, even closing ground. He has never been able to cover speedier wrs deep. That being said james jones and Cobb lined up on the same side safeties should communicate and roll presnap. Other defenses move around so much right up to the snap. Gb did it all day.

Houston said he was affected by his hamstring. He catches him with a good hamstring. He had a little hitch that allowed jones to get separation. Houston is much faster than jones

LOL....Houston doesn't catch him either way!

Another unlucky loss. They Lions should be 5-0!

As long as we're not 4-0 with 12 in-completes at the end of the season..

Calvin and healthy Houston obviously make a huge difference. Bad luck strikes. Bring on Cleveland and 4-2

Nobody should really have expected any different than what happened today. Defense actually did a decent job of holding Rodgers, offense played like shit, but I can't even be mad with a depleted WR corps. No Burleson and Johnson was easy to see writing on the wall.

My friend said Johnson wanted to play and Coaching staff said no. Can anyone confirm that? If so, fuck all of them, play him this game and rest him vs the browns when we don't need him.

We should beat the Browns but that's no guarantee.

Like I said before, they are taking a different approach with hurt players and resting them 1 week to get healthy(Bush against Wash) instead of having a hurt player for 3-4 weeks. If there was a D for Tron to miss this was it. Browns have a very good D and we are going to need him to win.

He gave up on the route and let him go thinking Arod wouldn't throw his way. Scoreboard don't lie, he got burned.

He didn't give up on the route. His hamstring looked like it caused him problems and he stopped. Obviously a go route and a safety help shouldn't stop him from running with jones

He got burned. Maybe he got a hammy on the run, though I doubt, but he still got burned and burned bad.

Overall, Houston had a bad bad day.

So his Hammy gave him problems so he stopped, but once the ball was in the air it didn't hurt anymore? Toasted
