Game 6: Rams @ Lions Thread

Hey, that's no problemo with me. Just takes away from the quality of the board when we can't have regular football/Lions conversations when one of the posters lives in wonderland and cannot be objective whatsoever.

Game Notes:
Tate finished with 165 yards, marking his first 100-yard receiving game since Week 10 of the 2014 season.

Anquan Boldin moved into 15th on the all-time receiving yards list with an 8-yard catch on the third play of the game. He entered the day with 13,379 yards, and needing just 4 to pass Torry Holt.
Next up on that list is former teammate Larry Fitzgerald, who is 14th all time with 13,727 yards.

The Lions hosted a team from L.A. for the first time since 1991, the last time they won a playoff game. They honored that team today with a reunion at halftime. (This also was the last time a team from Los Angeles played in the city of Detroit since 1971, when the Rams and Lions played at Tiger Stadium.)

Zach Zenner ran for 58 yards on 14 carries for the Lions, who played without Theo Riddick. He also caught two passes for 19 yards.

Forsett had a rougher go of things, gaining just five yards on five carries. He dropped the only pass thrown his way.

Detroit's Matthew Stafford was 23 of 31 for 270 yards, with a season-high four TD's.

The Rams' Lance Kendricks scored the seventh touchdown by an opposing tight end this season. Detroit's tight ends, by comparison, have 1.

The Lions lead the league in drops, and were clumsy again versus the Rams. They had at least four more, three of which came on a critical fourth-quarter drive after Los Angeles (3-3) took a 28-21 lead.

Had 4 stops. The goal line stand before halftime turned out to be a game saver. Stopping them in the first drive after half was another great stop. Add in the last 2 def drives as well. All needed in a close game.

Yeah my old brain forgot that game saving stop right before halftime. Saved the game like we posted at the time. I bet they are thinking they should have kicked the fg now but the 100 Pass completions in row in the second half made me forget that great stop. 4 stops all game damn were good lol... glad we got the key stops. Glad to be wrong. It happened alot this game I admit it.

Guessing the overall thoughts on here are offense looked very good overall and defense looked really bad overall.

Lions well in this playoff hunt. Great win. Keep it rolling against wash

I was going to say the D deserves the game ball, just to get some laughs. But here you are, except you're being serious...

Offense great. D good at right time. 4 stops, 4 tds. Huge turnover forced

Stafford gets game ball. And tate

Plus it looks much better if they recover the fumble Taylor caused

in looking at the rest of the schedule I see at least four more sure loses so too bad they couldn't beat tenn or Chicago..

I'm rooting for the browns to go 0-16 so we at least aren't by ourselves with that honor of suck

What I would like to see is that you guys not going to the true win stuff when he isn't here. When he comes back and reads it he is going to answer to it and then everything turns to shit. Now who started it if he wasn't here to begin with??

I couldn't disagree more. I'd say you either ax the "true win" talk completely....from BOTH sides.....or he needs to to be able to deal with it.

The only thing you're suggesting accomplishes is to protect the child who started this whole made up "stat" and actually argues it's validity. It's an extremely childish way to argue your teams talent or lack thereof. Sometimes in life, when you act like a child.....this is what happens.

Correct the problem......not the reactions.

The reactions are just to make fun of how incredibly dumb it is. It's comedic relief. Theres no reason to blame the people trying to poke fun at it when there's a moron on here arguing is legitimacy.
