Game 6: Rams @ Lions Thread

We beat rams and eagles and people are harping about bears and Titans. It's sad really

4 tds remembered but the 4 stops forgotten today. Stafford looks elite. Cooter and Caldwell deserve credit for that

Protection much improved. Great to see

Weapons are stepping up. Jones at times, boldin for clutch fds and Tate is back. Even Roberts made 2 big plays

Enough with the negativity. Lions are looking good

If you even try to defend this defense than you simply have no fucking idea what football is about.

Clutch defense. Missing levy and ngata. Ansah getting back to form. Whitehead needs to figure it out. Diggs played better at least

Far from a lost cause. Lots of talent. The pass rush needs to rev up

They made case keenum look like an all pro today, how is that impressive, how is that supposed to provide hope..the negatively is years and years in the making, it can only be undone by winning a super bowl, or heck let's just start by actually winning another playoff game again, the negativey towards the lions will when end if they even just manage to win another playoff game k, how's that, deal? Good...till then I'm not impressed, was nice to see Jim play not to lose a few times today though, how bout taking that same mindset into every game? There is NOTHING to lose in Detroit for this horrid franchise, nothing! All ye whom enter here never forget that!

Lots of talent on this defense. Two big time players missing. This defense can get it done. I don't care what happened any other year

Zenner's 58 yards rushing were the 2nd most by a Lion this year behind Abdullah's 66 yards against the Colts in week 1.

Zenner ran hard despite some below average run blocking for him. That 19 yarder after the hold was huge

Rams were a team scoring 16.4 PPG coming in. As a reference the Bears, who are now the worst O in the league (based on scoring average), are averaging 16.8 this season.

The D was an embarrassment overall.

The D might have been an embarrassment other than those 4 huge stops, but we got the most important stat...

Gurley is good. Britt is having a good year

Lions need to fix the pass rush. It will come. Too much talent on dline. Levy backs fixes lb coverage

Levy isnt 2013-2014 Levy. Expecting that is way too optimistic. You're setting yourself up for a big letdown. Why do you do this?

Levy is stilla good player..much better than armbrister or van noy in coverage. He will help big time

Maybe. He had 4 tackles in our opener, and Luck did whatever he wanted against us. How much better did we actually look with him out there? Him playing like his old self doesn't exactly sure up out lb shortcomings. I don't expect much, neither should anyone.

Levy can shake off the rust. He is more cerebral than armbrister and van noy. He can help this defense big time

The Lions have a 46-46 won-loss record in their last 92 games.

It starts with going 4-0 to end the 2010 season, and regular-season records of 10-6, 4-12, 7-9, 11-5, 7-9 and the current 3-3.

The Lions are 0-2 in the playoffs.

That adds up to 46-46.

At N.O.
Drew Brees
Lions defense being as atrocious as it is = why

At N. O. .....so what?
Drew Brees......we have Matt Stafford
Saints D is beyond atrocious.

Extremely winnable game. Your "why" makes no sense. We're playing the Saints, not the Patriots lol.

I suppose if Stafford throws 8 touchdowns maybe. idk Tony that Lions Defense is incredibility bad. It will need to improve quite substantially if they are to provide any hope for reason to believe.

Brother, i'm not arguing with ya about our D. We're horrible on D but not Saints horrible lol. Believe it or not, our D is better lol. Sad eh?! I fully expect a track meet when we clash with the Saints.
