So do nothing? Sounds about right. Blocked punts never go in the endzone or get returned for touchdowns.

Well if you’re not going to rush....they waste the time and throw it out of bounds...no free kick.

It’s a no win for the Lions right there.

They would have just done what Seattle’s punter did 2 weeks ago. End of half.you rush it with 9 or 10 and you take a major risk of giving up a 90+ yard TD.

I'll take my chance at the punter throwing it. Doing nothing is the worst option. If it wasn't a punt from their endzone I could see your point.

There is far more good then bad that comes out of it for the lions. Outside of a 90 yard fake punt TD there is no downside for the lions.
