Not to mention if you fair catch the punt you are allowed a free kick opportunity. Why not give prater an attempt at a field goal without the rush. Even if it's a 65 yard attpt, you have nothing to lose.

So you?re Going to try to block it right? That means you?re bringing at least nine guys right. So basically you?re giving Chicago a free try at a fake punt because if it falls incomplete the clock runs out and it?s half time anyway. That would?ve been a stupid play.
