Game 9: Lions @ Bears Thread

Nice work defense . Don?t account for a running qb. Davis is worthless.

Slay should take his time coming back imo, the rest of the defense makes him look bad and there's no reason for him to jeopardize next year with another injury

Not much Davis could do there. We had a 5 man box there and they had 5 OL and a RB to block there.

It was 6 on 5.

When Howard came back in the backfield I was thinking this is definitely going to be a run because no one on defense came into the box.

Just to hammer it home, the Bears now have 4 touchdowns in 4 possessions. They've only needed third down 3 times, and only needed to actually convert twice (defensive penalty converted one for them). This defense has literally not stopped anything.

And did the offense ever help the defense with a long drive. While I agree with this defense is a complete mess and can?t stop anyone. The offense has to have some long drives. That will help the defense too.

Way to try and score before the 2 min warning, we don't need the points and another possession before the half

Why Blount is ever on the field outside of the two yard line I have no idea

Of all the things this board disagrees on.....this ONE thing is unanimous. Blount sucks....and every touch he gets takes away from this offense.
