Im proud of this team but that Defense just hasnt looked good the last two weeks. I dont who to blame or what to do to fix it but we shall see. The future does look bright.

You can blame Gunthers vanilla defense.

Mitch must be on helium.. Seriously dude.. The future might LOOK bright but tell that to teams like the Bengals whom have a good year every other year.. Or the Browns in 2007 when they were 10-6 with young talent.. Things can change on a dime... ANd they need a fucking average defense.. Just average... Not the runny fecal matter like we saw last night..

You just agreed with me the future looks bright so what's the beef? That things can change on a dime? Noooooooooo, really? I'm just not going to be pissed off all off season.

it was truly dissappointing that the DEs got whooped on all game. Watching Avril was hillarious hed push so far up the field then the OT would give one hard push and avril would go flying lol. He was awful. Bosch worked very hard all game....but sucked ass at it. The dline didnt show up and gave brees all day to ass rape our horrific secondary. We knew before the game even started if we didnt get to brees we were done. Ill say it one last time for the 11' team....i dont blame the secondary cause i expected them to be garbage. We didnt go for any of the prized dbs so we went into the year relying solely on our dline beasting and creating havoc. the last 5-6 games they didnt do that. They never even got close to flynn or brees (or rivers for that matter)....its going to be tough to fill all the holes again this offseason. We need a stud DE, a S, and a #1 cb on defense alone.

I would like in 2012, the DL not over pursue on every play and play good hard nose run defense. Sacks will come. Like what the NYG do.

It wasn't luck, if the defense felt like showing up against a back-up QB last week, they wouldn't have gotten the Saints.

This +1 all day and night.

If you watched the Giants game today, you wouldn't be so confident the Lions would have won. Their D is cooking right now and the O is playing conservative enough to not lose and well enough to win big. They didn't give up any points to Atlanta's O and stopped them twice on 4th and short. That is the way the Lions D needed to play come playoff time and until they do we will likely not see the Lions in the SB.

Defense wins championships. Look for the Giants to beat Green Bay next week. They are really playing that well and at this point I think they win it all.

i agree with this...i hated the giants match up for us. The only 2 teams in the nfc i thought we had a chance against were ATL and SF.
