Everyone knew the 1 game suspension was inevtiable. He broke the a rule with the punch and the UM fans started an uproar on the internet that got some attention from the B1G and the media. Biggunsbob is still going to argue about the "neck twist" but the last time I checked it was an intentional face mask and P/F per NCAA rules and the refs made the correct call with a 15 yard penalty. If you want a rule change then bring it up with the NCAA. Nobody is talking about Roundtree's facemask on Johnny Adams because you are so biased. That penalty wasn't even called. Any facemask is going to twist the neck/jerk the head, get over it. UM is lucky that ND fans are not as obsessive and whiney otherwise Hawthorne would have receivesd a 1 game suspension for his obvious punch.

He twisted Robinson's neck after the play was over, and after piling one. He should have gotten two games.. I could care less about the punch because they both were battling... But the Big ten has suspended guys for the punching in the past and that is a fact. The whole neck twist was a terrible play... If M$U fans cannot admit that then you have know clue how football works...

Well now that is solved I can go back to knowing that MSU have beaten down the Wolverines 4 straight years. Get over it, both teams were chippy and both teams were twisting facemasks. UM lost cause they arent as good as MSU and havent been for 5 years now. Go focus on Purdue and you will get your shot next year.

There's a difference between a player running and a player grabbing a facemask, and it twist. Than a player laying on the ground with the play over and another player coming in late, then grabbing his facemask and twisting it on his own.

I'm not condoning anything. Have you ever played football and been in a pile? Dirty things go on in there all the time! Ask anyone else who has also played football. Gholston was just dumb enough to do it where the cameras caught him.
