i fail to see how saying that we shouldnt discount half his career is ridiculous, but whatever.

But Ichiro came from by your description, inferior talent pools, came to MLB and still dominated.

Doesn't matter what league he started in, Ichiro still put up the numbers, period.
 
Than Oh and his world breaking home run total should get in on one of these polls. No on is suggesting Ichiro is not a great player or not worthy to be a hall of famer but his Japanese totals don't count here in the MLB. They're seperate.
