Green Bay vs. Seattle

That explains it, Stafford is better than Rodgers :hmm:

Look at his last full season, 2012..Rodgers in the 4th quarter, within 7 in the 4th quarter, more than 7 in the fourth quarter..in all situations his quarterback rating are all above 100.

Look at his record amongst his peers in such games. Other elites are a million times better. There is really no other player to compare him too because all of the other top qbs don't have this problem. He is the only one that doesn't seem to get it done.

Yeah, he doesn't get it done. Super Bowl winner, holds the lowest career passer interception percentage, best TD/INT ratio in NFL history. Dude just can't get it done.

He sucks at leading his team when it's close and he's down. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/comebacks_career.htm. Look at all the leaders. Rodgers is behind so many qbs in today's nfl.

Cowherd talked about this last week. Rodgers is one of the worst in close games and rarely pulls it out if he is down late. But like brewer said hes rarely down late. When your sample size is smaller percentages will greatly be effected by even a 1 or 2 loss difference.

So you are a coach of a team, your team is down by 5 late in the 4th. You look at your Bench and wonder why you dressed 4 QBs, regardless now it is decision time, who are you picking to lead your team down the Field

Matt Stafford
Tony Romo
Aaron Rodgers
Alex Smith

Who is your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice?

Don't say Stafford has done nothing. When it's all said and done, Stafford will have every Lions QB record EVER. Now its time to win some playoff games and a championship.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm....because of who is posting I'm assuming he is serious.

Not like the bar is set high by previous Lions QBs. Plus stafford plays in an era where it is really hard to not put up good stats.

Last year 18 QBs had a rating of above 85. 20 years ago 4 did.

It be a lot closer choice if you were picking which qb you think would throw a pick 6 in that situation. you give the nod to romo or Stafford???

Any list that has QB I'd put Romo above $tafford all day. He chokes at times, same with Stafford but he's the better QB.

I find both teams to be very similar. Average qbs leading offenses that are supposed to be better than they actually are. Poor defenses with no depth that tend to have important pieces get injured all the time. I dont know if romo is better than stafford or the reverse. But if were talking one is 13 and the other is 14 or the reverse is true...then who really cares other than it means both guys are overpaid.

In his last 5 seasons, 4 full..only once where he threw more than 10 INT. And his quarterback rating blows Stafford away. They're not even close.

Yeah, Romo gets a bad rap for some of the choke jobs, but overall his numbers are substantially better. He has not had a bad season.

Tony, I'm not exactly sure how amazing that would be to have all the Lions records, seeing as how this franchise has had probably the worst history of quarterbacks ever.

Also, Stafford's 3.5 full seasons, he's thrown close to 40 passes a game. That's ridiculous. A lot of these yards and records are a product of a system that allows him to get those numbers by sheer volume.

Product of the system my ass. Ok, he throws a lot of passes..granted, but it's a passing league. Stafford has done it with garbage besides CJ and a non-existent running game up until last year. You still gotta make the throws and make the catches. He's putting up numbers STILL with this team leading the league in drops the last 2 years. That says something..

It's not only Lions QB records he's breaking.

All this and Mayhew's your boy.

Is try and focus the word of the day for you? Say it once more and you get a prize.

Prior to this year:

First round TE, First Round RB, $$ FA First Round RB, Second Round RB, $$$ FA WR, Two Second Round WRs, Third Round WR, Traded a Fourth Round for a WR.

Your word - "garbage."
