I agree with Schwartz
The fans should have been cheering because those few plays sealed Jim's fate.
So would you call them "abject" cheers? lol

The Lions had an 87 percent chance of winning the game with possession of the football and a seven-point lead with 5:38 to go.
And then Matthew Stafford threw a tipped pick-six — the 14th of his young career — to Will Hill, who made it into the lineup despite being arrested on Friday on a warrant related to child support payments. From that point forward, even though the Giants turned the ball over twice, the Lions ran 11 plays that produced a net 21 yards of offense. The Giants comfortably converted a third-and-9 and a fourth-and-7 on their final drive to set up a Josh Brown overtime field goal that knocked the Lions out of playoff contention.
This year, they've played like the 7-9 team. Good riddance.
If there was ever 1 paragraph that summed up the lions...this is it. Watching it is unbelievable....but reading how a team can fuck up a game this bad is just hysterical the next day.....it really is comical.
11 plays for 21 yards after 2 NYG turnovers.....anyone that tries to argue its not on Stafford can reread that 100 times. He fucking blows.
The biggest blunder of the game was the pick 6 with 5 minutes to go. Another bonehead play by our $90M quarterback!
Costly sure. But there other blunders why we lost. Stafford went to outside because LB was too inside of Fauria. Missed too far and shitty safety in bad coverage got an easy deflection.
The list of reasons the Lions lost is lenghty. All I am saying is the single largest blunder of the game was the pick 6. There is no debating that fact unless you are a Stafford appologist.
The Dickerson drop and Reiff whiff on Kiwanuka both erased 3 points. Huge in that game too. Just as big. And the 4th and 7 well that was a big blunder as well as the 3rd and 9. The Carey delay of game too. 5 extra yards for 52 instead of 57 yarder.
Yup....all small mistakes that lead to the loss. The Stafford pick 6 directly lead to 7 points that allowed the game to reach OT was still by far the biggest!

Fans where booing because they are sick and tired and watching you choke and find it all rather pathetic that would don't even try a deep ball or something with time left on the clock, didn't you still have a time out or two also? Don't recall but bottom line winners take shots losers play for field goals or overtime, remember that entire down left on the board last year for a long field goal attempt? Same thing
The franchise needs a coaching staff that plays to win instead of plays not to lose
What is their to lose by putting one up deep or running another play on 3rd down instead of sending out the field goal unit for a 40+ Yard attempt..run another play get closer! What is there to lose.
NOTHING! THATS WHAT... NOT A GD THING! the franchise hasn't done shit for over 50 fucking years get that through your gd head! Franchise needs a coaching staff that understands this..You play to win the game! Not to take your chances in overtime, you play to win the game!
That's why you got boo'd and rightly so!
When ya play not to lose you'll lose 9 out of 10 ya bunch of play it safe loser assclown coaches I hope your all fired
TWO timeouts, bro!!
Schwartz was saving his timeouts. Save 5, get 1 free.
The NFL has awarded the Lions one extra 2nd half timeout in the Minnesota game.
