Besides the missed ft

Davis and Teske were just not good on offense down the stretch. I also question the set for Davis up 2 after Simpson misses both free throws after getting the rebound.. Davis missed 2 layups last 3 minutes and Teske was not very good either. Missing a point Blank hook shot.

Just go look at the play by play. Real poor offense last 3 minutes. Running anything for Davis is just stupid.

Btw the team can?t hit the board side of a barn nowadays.

Psu. Didnt show up . Deserve to lose..

One of those 5 was the front end of a 1 and 1. Left 6 points at the line. Illinois should have never had a chance to take the winning shot. Frustrating as hell.

At least Livers is out again so the season is fucked. I think I'll order an arsenic burger at Grizzly Peak tonight.

I know in the post game Howard said Simpson played great defense (and he did) on the last play but I just don?t understand not trying to keep it out of the hot guys hand ? Double him, and make him make a pass. He had 4-6 inches on Simpson. Frustrated. Now we Are in big trouble again without Livers.

With our bench so thin Howard has to start using more zone. We have to try and keep Teske fresh. Also we have to cut our three point attempts down to 20. This is just my opinion but that is what we need to try. We are just not a good shooting team.

I say give the reigns to DDJ and let Simpson come off the bench. At least DDJ can drive and create his own shots. Nothing else is working, start the kid. For every good thing Simpson brings, his deficiencies kill the team more. Especially the hero ball. I think if DDJ is given the starter minutes he can get into a nice rhythm and possibly make everyone a little better than they are and maybe eek out a couple of these close ones. Anything is better than what is going on now.

I dont disagree with trying anything at this moment. Heck they were all playing hero ball against Illinois. Not many assists at all . I think Simpson feels he has to score. Hell Wagner, Davis and Teske were not very good yesterday finishing.

I was really frustrated after Simpson missed both of his free throws ( the first 2 I think of the five missed in a row) He did get the rebound but then we ran a freaking play for Davis down low.
Wtf ? Was that from Howard? I know Teske and Wagner have been struggling but up two that play has to got to someone else. Howard needs to be better calling those crunch time plays.

I read that Michigan missed something like 11 lay-ups in this game. I couldn't watch, because I was at work. I guess that is a good thing in hindsight.
