Hoops vs MSU

It appears legendary war correspondent Christianne Amanpour is going to do a special segment for CNN on sex around the world.

So there you'll have it - war, gratuitous violence and sex.

I do wonder whether some of these torture porn fests like "Saw" even go through a script writing process.

I look forward to the next season of Evil Dead, but have no interest in ever seeing a Saw film.

Here's where I'm not sure if I'm reading your tone right. Are you actually trying to argue that the violence Ash vs. the Evil Dead is gratuitous?

you appear to be misreading my tone and I edited my response to your response because I realized you might be.

I've never seen Ash vs. the Evil Dead but I have no problem with over the top comedy, even if it involves graphic violence because it's clearly not trying to be real. To me it's very different than violence in movies like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Sin City, 300, Natural Born Killers, etc.

Edit: I guess the Evil Dead movies are technically horror films but they're obviously campy horror films.

I didn't want anyone thinking I was serious about Evil Dead not being gratuitous. It's way over the top. You know that Mr. Bean scene where Atkinson gets a large turkey stuck on his head? Evil Dead has an homage to that scene and whatever you may be envisioning, it's probably worse.
