Hoops vs MSU

Need to get Poole going. He needs to fake and drive ,drive drive. Stop shooting the nba theee too. Charles looks hobbled a bit .

It's kinda ominous how state keeps getting easy buckets, despite their shooting going cold.

gonna be a tough game.

also crazy how deep they are, with 2 starters out.

That's why I remained nervous going into this game, despite MSU being down 2 guys and it being at Crisler.

Don't flop, Poole. We aren't ****ing Wisconsin.

Frustrating we can’t seem to hold on to the ball on offense or make layups.

This is college basketball's game of the year so far.

That was a fast first half, and I'm still nervous about the outcome.

Well played half. Both teams are hitting shots at a higher clip than I expected. Not sure we can keep that up in the second half. Offensive rebounding has kept UM in it.

Very entertaining so far. Both teams clearly came to play.

MSU got a lot of open looks early and started hot as a result. Hopefully the defense can settle in and adjust 2nd half.

One thing MSU has improved on last year is turnovers. We caused a lot on them last year which was a big part of the victories. Only 4 or so for them first half.

Figured wed be down by 10 without Ward and Langford...

Glad to still be hanging around

Espn box score . Halftime stats.

Goins leads all scorers with 13..Simpson has 10 for um. Msu almost has four guys in double figures Tillman 8, mcquaid 7, and Winston 8. Poole 1-5 struggling. Simpson is at 10 but he is only 4-10 shooting. Needs to finsh his layups and hooks. Mathews 2-5.. Let’s see how his ankle holds up.

Izzo has done a better job this year.

I think I said on your board that losing guys like JJJ was addition by subtraction... I think MSU has better team players this year. some chemistry there they haven't had for a long time.
