This conservative biased company is rapidly making deep inroads into mostly rural regions of the nation, through buying up all of the local affiliates of national networks...essentially turning their local news stations into slanted news and opinion, ala Fox News on steroids. The FCC under Idjit Pie, is rolling back restrictions upon how many that they can buy and control:

They are being painted as leaning left, b/c they are national in scope, and do not march in lockstep with either major party. So if they air segments which are critical of the RW narrative, then that makes them dyed in the wool leftists, esp to the xtian fundamentalists and alt-right.

The networks being taken over by Sinclair are broadcasting over the air locally/regionally, not only by cable/satellite, so there is no equal comparison to national media, when Sinclair owns most or all of them. In essense Sinclair is a national media conglomerate creating a captive audience out of monopolizing thousands of local TV affiliates.
