Hi Tinsel!, IDK maybe so. They were both a little before my time really. I wasn't yet on this rock when Harvey recorded that but I do agree that it seems even more relevant and prophetic today than it did in 1965

I was alive back in the 60s, and since then and through the years, things haven?t really changed all that much-the things Paul Harvey was saying have been being said by some people pretty much ever since.

Also, Paul Harvey?s mainstay was not the doom and gloom in this clip-usually he was lighthearted, interesting, ironic and amusing.

The primary difference between then and now is, back then, we were all going to die from an impending and inevitable next Ice Age.

sometimes I find trumps specific words interesting. He made a weird comment the other day about being good, we have to be good. I'm not sure but I think he was more less saying hey all you who got impatient and did things you shouldn't have sorry nothing I will be able to do. but I digress all in all I do think a case could be made for obstruction and all those tweets he makes. Not sure how that'll all unfold really. There is yet a lot more to come IMO good and bad.

If it's inconsequential and has nothing to say outside of the stuff with Manafort/Cohen/etc? Absolutely, I'd buy that narrative.

AG Barr said he would write his own summary of the report and submit it to Congress, possibly by this weekend.

Good on Mueller for wrapping up an investigation faster than most high profile special investigations. Still find it funny people thought it was taking too long.

Now the witch hunts can begin in earnest. Legit followup investigations will continue, but give the dems a big pile of leads and I think we can have both legit investigations and witch hunts. We don't have to be completely partisan and think they're all completely legit or completely witch hunts. Going back to the 1st post in this thread, impeachment with no removal from office has seemed like the most likely outcome since midterms put the dems in charge of the house but not the senate.


edit: I should say 2nd post of this thread. Kawdup said it would be another Clinton impeachment well before the midterms.
