I don't like this match up. Especially playing in NY. No one else I rather beat but I think it works out better if we were at home and played the O's.

I don't know. I feel like it's a 50/50 coin flip either way. Both teams have flaws and both teams have advantages. Would have loved home field but it didn't kill us in 06 or 11 (except Texas) and not in the opening series this year so it's hard to feel like it's doom.

Detroit had superior road teams in 2011 and especially in 2006. Not the same. And you can't say it wasn't a problem against the A's, we lost two there.

I am just not nervous about it. Yankee Stadium is an incredible hitting ballpark which may actually help our woeful offense. Our pitching is great no matter where it is so I think having a great park to hit in may spark something.

Yes but it's very tough place to play in Oak, their fans never shut up, Lots of teams didn't win much out there.. New York fans are much more spoiled much easier to hush em up early.

I still wish we had 4 at home. JV gets the 1st road game and game 7 at home, huge advantage. Plus, JV's numbers at Camden Yards, awesome. I think it would have helped if we played the O's.

If the Orioles' staff with an aggregate 3.90 team ERA can stymie the Yankee hitters, I see no reason why the Tigers' starters can't do it, too.

We need to get some new guys in here to shake things up.

Detroit should hire RichRodriguez. his spread offense will revolutionize the MLB. That's what we really need.
