I love this

And if you truly "read the responses" then youd see tony chiming in with his emo bitchiness before any "negative" posters even posted.

Emo?? I'm not the leader of the "Umbrella Club" though lol.
Funny how one of the more intelligent (Ink) posters on here call you out on your bullshit. You're a joke, man and most of this board agrees. I know i know, it's a message board...who cares, right? True, but it's still funny. But hey, hero....at least you got the Mike Thomas call right....lmfao

Btw.....do you have a Marilyn Manson tattoo? Silly me...of course you do!! ;)

I see the responses. I refuse to engage in this kind of banter with him any more. I can actually tolerate LKP more than him.

If I have to talk to someone who's so far on one end of the spectrum or the other as these guys, I would actually prefer someone who has something cheerful to say, even if it's wrong. Listening to downer bullshit all day, and worse... arguing with it... is just not how I intend to enjoy my sports.

I'll argue with that retard ALL day. I enjoy it. His lies and his negativity is what drives me lol

There is no doubt that Hughes is on the negative side and LKP is on the positive side. The only difference between the two is Hughes has history on his side and LKP is delusional! True wins, true interceptions...he is the biggest tool on this board!

The "history" argument only goes so far. When you're blaming Mayhew for the outcome of an investigation he had no part in, or saying he's too much of a pussy to force an investigation into a signing that hasn't happened yet, it's not history. It's absolutely delusional to the negative side.

He's as absolutely full of shit as LKP, but because he talks about actual losses instead of "true wins", people think he's relying on historical data. Sorry, but bashing ANYONE for something they didn't do or haven't done yet is just as bat shit crazy as talking about wins that didn't happen in the past.

I tend to think im just realistic.....and the lions have sucked for a long time. #mayhewproblems

History has shown mayhew is a moron.....the man extended schwartz then wanted to can him less than a year later.

1 good year....lets extend stafford.

Draft after draft of failures covered up by expensive fa band aids.

Is 0 playoff wins ok for a #1 overall pick?

Is needing to go 16-0 this year just to be .500 ok for a gm?

You guys take these things as me being negative. ...they are factual things that happened! *queue the kid saying "is this real life?"

Mayhew has loaded this roster with talent. You said it yourself, good at every starting position. Both draft and free agency (not expensive, smart deals).

Schwartz extension was the right call AT THE TIME. Lions playoffs after 12 years before a lame duck year=extension is the right call.

And Stafford has been good 3 years. 2011, 2013 and 2014. You lie only saying one good year.

We beat Dallas as far as I'm concerned. This roster can easily win playoff games too going forward.

Sorry LKP..
Scoreboard says we lost to Dallas no matter how bad we were screwed. There is no sense arguing back and forth and this includes all of us.. Until this Management group wins a playoff game the Lovers need to shut-up because its all about winning in the NFL, and and the basher's and semi-basher's in which I fall into need to wait and see how this year plays out.. The simple fact is Calvin is getting old, and Matt has yet to delivery. We botched the Suh deal up. It is time for this ownership and management group to deliver
This year is as good as any...

We went 11-5 and clearly have a good roster for 2015. The haters need to shut it.

Our true record is 1 and 57. One playoff win in 57 years. Doesn't matter if we win 15 games every year, no playoff wins and it sucks.

Is the roster good enough to win playoff games in the 2015 season?

The answer is yes.

You can say that about 24 other teams in the league as well.

Exactly, at least we are finally not one of the 8 teams that don't have a chance, but still in this league, being able to win a game is not good enough, getting there and winning one is what it is about.

Last year was a prove it season, they did ok, but still not good enough. 11-5 and a playoff appearance to add to the banner should not be considered good enough. Failed season.

Detroit, Arizona, Philadelphia, Seattle, Green Bay and Dallas you can say that for in the NFC.

Lions are in good category. It's not 24 teams. Denver, Patriots, Ravens, Colts.

10 teams.

And Detroit is equal or better than all of those 10 teams.

So NFC alone if Lions don't win their division, that makes the Lions 1 of 3 teams fighting for two wild card spots. So realistically Lions could not even make the playoffs, based on your analysis.

Lions can win the division. Lions can win 10-12 and get a wildcard too. Lions can win on the road in the playoffs with this roster. Lions can win at home in the playoffs too with this roster. It's a very good roster.

When we have such a good roster, it's dumb to complain about the GM. He's done a great job. Same with our QB.

And they could also get Home Field Advantage. 11-5 and 12-4 are close.

The Lions lost their best player in free agency & they have a QB that has never won a game on the road vs. a team that ends the season with a winning record. I'm not saying they can't win a playoff game on the road...but I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that they can.

The Lions have a good QB and a stacked roster. We got Ngata, upgrades at DT 2-4 for pass rush, good LBs across the board and good secondary. Nice deep team too. Weapons galore, upgraded young Oline, deep RBs.

This team is poised to win any playoff game that comes at them. Experienced good coaching too.

Lions are in the top tier of playoff ready teams.

2011 was a prove it season and welcomed because it was a long time since the last one. Every year since with no playoff win is a failed season. And I still remember the following year where we won only 4.

I'm still not sure about this 2015 season. Too much unknown.
