I love this

The thread titles are different but every discussion turns out the same. The Lions version of Godwin's Law.

We went 11-5 and clearly have a good roster for 2015. The haters need to shut it.

Just a typical answer from you yet again.. 11-5 and another year without a playoff or Matt beating a good team especially on the road..

BTW they did botch the whole Suh deal. You better hope Naga can last a full season at year 11 of his NFL
career.

The Lions have a good QB and a stacked roster. We got Ngata, upgrades at DT 2-4 for pass rush, good LBs across the board and good secondary. Nice deep team too. Weapons galore, upgraded young Oline, deep RBs.

This team is poised to win any playoff game that comes at them. Experienced good coaching too.

Lions are in the top tier of playoff ready teams.

Young olines aren't really a good thing. Gbs line is one of the best in the league. ...and when they were young they sucked ass. This offense is a complete unknown until we see if they can play or not. Last season should have proved the number of weapons doesn't matter when lombardi and stafford can't get them the ball.

They didn't botch the Suh deal. They offered 17 per. Suh wanted 19 per. 19 per is overpaying. They botched nothing.

Young Oline with talent but has experience is a good thing. Reiff, Warford and Waddle still have a good amount of experience. Lucas and Man Ram have some too. Even Swanson played last year at both guard and center. Plenty of experience. Swanson over Raiola is an upgrade and Laken over Sims is an upgrade.

It's a young Oline but experienced OLine with lots of talent.

The offense is a known. It's loaded with talent and should be top 5 offense.

It gets very old, but it will continue until people ignore lkp and Hughes.

I blame Mayhew.

I'm pretty sure the Lions Board version of Godwin's Law is "Stafford". That seems to be our biggest trigger.

As soon as he is brought up, no further intelligent conversation seems to be possible around here.

Maybe it's both actually. Godwin's Law states that the longer a discussion goes on, the higher the probability someone will refer to Hitler or Nazism, and that no further intelligent discussion could continue in that thread.

Maybe our version of Hitler is Mayhew and our version of Nazism is Stafford. The longer any conversation goes on, the higher the probability someone will mention Mayhew or Stafford, and no further intelligent debate can continue.

Haha, maybe Monster is running this board for his doctoral thesis in Sociology.

.. it all makes so much sense now. I was wondering why every time Monster's computer gives an error sound, my mouth starts to water.

So, if we put LKP in a box, with a canister of poison that is set to go off at a random time, and we can't open the box....

Can we then assume LKP is simultaneously brain dead and less brain dead?

Considering we know what he is like prior to entering the box, there really is only 1 answer to that question.

I disagree with LKPs opinion often...but atleast he talks about the lions. Half the dufusses on this board just talk about other posters. The new trend is ppl start talking about the thread being ruined before anyone even trolls it lol. And THATS the only contribution to the thread they give.

If you think the thread sucks and you don't want to discuss the topic at hand. Feel free to start your own thread about something you want to talk about. Or simply STFU :D

Agreed. We both talk football even if we disagree. All I do is talk football on here.

The personal attacks by people need to stop. Just talk football like hughes and I do.

And we don't kill threads. We make them explode with football talk.
