CBS’s Lara Logan Calls Media ‘Mostly Liberal’ in Scorched Earth Interview: I’m Committing ‘Professional Suicide’'
And another 48 hours will now be required for this new information

“Mostly liberal” is a pretty broad and subjective description.
That said, while you hated the media bias fact check rating on info wars and Alex Jones, nevertheless, looking up what one might describe as “Main stream media,” the major broadcast networks and big city news publications, and national news publications, media bias fact check does find the majority of them leaning somewhat to the left.
All three of the major broadcast networks are found to be somewhat to the left. The majority of big city newspapers are somewhat to the left, exceptions, not surprisingly, include Dallas Houston and Las Vegas.
Not surprisingly, the Wall Street Journal is viewed leaning to the right and USA today is viewed leaning to the left.
Time, News week, and US News and World Report are all seen leaning to the left.
overall I agree with her assessment. too much horseshit mostly from the left.
As she argued that media sources on the left and right regularly push their preferred narratives and ?do terrible things,? Logan determined that the weight of the liberal media overwhelms ?the other side? unless people actively seek outlets like Breitbart.
The discussion continued with Logan trashing news reports based on single, anonymous government sources, calling it an abandonment of journalistic standards.
?That?s not journalism, that?s horseshit,? Logan said. ?Responsibility for fake news begins with us. We bear some responsibility for that, and we?re not taking ownership of that and addressing it. We just want to blame it all on somebody else.?
Did anyone read the part about needing to seek out Breibart unless you want an either left or right narrative without rolling their eyes so hard it actually hurt?
I love how it's now people seeking out unbiased sources for information when it's not that at all ...it's seeking out sources for information that confirm or reaffirm a preexisting disposition or opinion and has been that for the better part of 20yrs now.
The idea that this "establishment" media is now giving any credibility to this Pecker at the National Enquirer says all you need to say about how fucking skewed FACTS and THE TRUTH have become. The president of the US goes on rambling, nonsensical rants full of sound bites, mistruths, lies and outright false assertions ....but let's not jump to conclusions here, perhaps there is some validity to the entire Justice Department, FBI and Intelligence communities being engaged in a vast conspiracy against Trump because he's too smart and successful ...and CNN had better get a 8-screen split of people screaming about it or be accused of being "biased."
Are you really so clueless as to not know that it's satire, and they have done it to every single president since the show started. Same with the late night guys, do you honestly believe if Hillary won she would not be getting the same treatment?
Here?s a twist- the two guys implicated in the Jussie Smollett thing are the same two guys whose actual voices were on the Millie Vanilli Grammy winning songs back in the 80s.
it's either the same or it isn't. Anyone who thinks it would be the same for Hillary, who the bulk of media literally fawned over is out of their mind. Even these shows (SNL and late night comedy/talk) treated the two candidates very differently during the campaign - it wasn't even remotely the same in type or quantity.
You know I'm not going to agree with that approach.it's either the same or it isn't.
To be fair to SNL, as good as Kate McKinnon is, it was probably hard for her to duplicate Clinton?s bland unlikability in a funny and satiric way, so she kinda went the other way with it.
Funny isn't objective, but I think it's tough to imagine not being able to see that Trump is funnier than Clinton. Pantsuits can only get you so far.
