I think I'm pretty slow to speak in absolute terms. I usually see things as somewhere on a spectrum with some amount of truth to both sides and limitations to taking either side of an argument too far, right? Is that fair? I don't just come out and call too many positions fucking stupid, do I?

At a minimum. The best of the people that think global warming is a low priority are being fucking stupid with a fucking stupid position. It's so fucking stupid, I don't even believe it's a matter of people being fucking stupid. And the polls on what Americans think about global warming support this position since education doesn't have a big impact on whether or not a person is skeptical or not (politics has high correlation of course, but not education.) It's so stupid, I believe a good portion of the people believe what they believe because they have an innate need to believe that the problems of the world are driven by people different from them and very little about their own lifestyle is bad. Having an ego that twists your beliefs so you can continue supporting activities that cause harm to others is immoral. Just a terrible quality in a human being.



So when I say it's fucking stupid, I'm being nice. Deep down, I believe that most people with this view are worse than fucking stupid.

I haven't personally seen any warming trend for years in MI (yeah yeah regional I know) and I strongly believe the data is fudged and that they really need to be putting more of those monitoring stations in rural areas where you don't get the heat island effect. I would be more interested in his assumptions about my lifestyle since I'm not on board with all the AGW hype lets hear some more about my immoral lifestyle. ok good. I got a new mower even, it's a John Deere from America. I paid a little bit more for it than I could have gotten a cheaper full import for, I do that as much as I can, I support American jobs whenever possible even if it cost a little bit more. So does Trump, I like that about Trump, America first. China second.
