Is CJ the best ever?

CJ also was doubled and tripled teamed more than Rice. There is advantages to different era's, that benefited Rice. Not including the HOF team he played for..

I watched almos all of the Lions games this year...the "triple team" is quite the exageration.

You didn't watch that closely then. He was tripled fairly often with zone coverages rolled to his side. It wasn't triple coverage as in 3 guys line up on CJ and play him man.....but zone coverages rolled to him almost every play (when teams played zone) and quite often that put a man underneath, inside and over the top of him.

right....that isn't triple teaming a player...that is a zone with the players paying special attention to one player. I'm sure the Lions would prefer they play zone as it is much easier to find open spaces in the zones. Teams play zone when they don't have good cover corners.
 
But its not your typical zone where one guy covers low, one guy high and 3rd guy when balls in the air. He has 3 guys on him before the ball is thrown. That equals triple teams.
