Fox News & Republicans: "FUCK YOUR FEELINGS, Libs. Trump has ushered in a new era. The time when PC thought police can dictate what I can and can't say is OVER. Illegals are invading our country, and inner city welfare blacks are creating a skyrocketing crime wave that can only be stopped with bullets. Oh? neither of those things are actually true? Well that's FAKE NEWS. SUCK IT."

Restaurant: "You can't eat in my restaurant. Please Get out."

Fox News & Republicans: "Waht? this is so unfair.... WAAAAH... What happened to common decency in this country. libs are teh REAL intolerant ones here."

How about this one .. the babies heart had stopped, and yet this dipshit pharmacist decided not to fill this women?s prescription because of religious beliefs. Instead of letting another coworker do it the lady has to go to another pharmacy.

The baby was already dead and didn?t have a heartbeat!

I thought most liberals don't consider it a baby when at 8 weeks. If it were a baby at 8 weeks, wouldn't an abortion be murder?

I don’t really get this thread. Is the OP something anybody actually said or is it satiric?

I believe he was referencing this tweet or something similiar:

This deserved it's own thread. I'd make a bag of popcorn and everything.

denying a woman you don't know life-saving medicine is not nearly as cruel as denying that cow a place to stuff food in her mouth.

As has also been pointed out on twitter, what they don't mean is fuck feelings in general. Their own feelings are important. It's only the feelings of people they don't like or agree with don't matter.

This used to be called "being an asshole" but Trump made it part of his platform.

We're in an ugly place with regard to civility these days. It would be nice if someone could complain about it without being called a hypocrite. We're self-selecting our news and what businesses to support based on their politics and maybe the next step is businesses select their customers (I doubt it, but it could happen). Sad to think the only reason we got along and compromised with people of different viewpoints to the degree we did in the past was because we didn't have the tools to segregate as much as we wanted to. Hopefully someone will invent glasses soon so we only have to see the people we agree with.

She went to a doctor and the fetus had no Heart beat. So the baby was dead. Who cares how old the baby was? You have no idea the trauma this can cause a women to have a dead baby in her womb. It is very upsetting to the women to go from a live child one day to one that is no longer living the next. Then be told to help your health you have to terminate the pregnancy and have to have a emergency D&C. I think she could have done it with just pills. I speak from experience it wrecks a women. It took months to get over what had happened. Then this jack ass Pharmacist denies her medication based on his religious views. Freaking I would be I jail if I was her husband. I would have create such a scene .

to some extent, the self-selecting customers thing is Constitutionally limited, already.

there's a difference between discriminating against someone based on their political views and their race.

some have used the distinction as well between discriminating against something based on a personal choice (politics) and a trait (race, skin color, sexual orientation, and to a great extent religion) since one often has no control over the latter. People change religion so rarely, and it's thoroughly wound into community such that it's not really a personal choice, like who to vote for is.

also, you can comment on civility without being a hypocrite, if you act civil yourself!

I don't think criticising a public individual or official in public - even using foul language or comments - is a civility issue. I mean get real.

some of the biggest critics of the recent verbal "attacks" on Trump officials have been former Democratic staffers or politicians themselves! Fuck that! it's because they're more or less in agreement & lockstep with Republicans and with the policies being pushed on us by DC, and don't like to see people start to push back.

denying a woman you don't know life-saving medicine

I don?t know why a pharmacist wouldn?t fill a legitimate prescription if they had the medication in stock. I also don?t know why Walgreens would employ somebody who wouldn?t do the job.

But it wasn?t a life-saving medication because dead people don?t tell stories on Facebook. I?m wondering what happened with the fetus. The article doesn?t tell how the fetus ultimately passed but I?m guessing she probably took the Rx and got it filled elsewhere.

We also don?t know if anything like this actually happened to this lady because the story is based on a claim she made on Facebook. I am kind of suspicious of anyone who posts significantly personal shit on Facebook anyway. Who the fuck needs that much attention? I know a person like that personally and she is the most severely fucked up person I?ve ever met.

I would imagine without the medication the deceased fetus would probably pass naturally the way miscairred fetuses have done going back tens of thousands of years before there was abortion medication.

Well I do, so fuck you.

I wouldn't care as much about civility if I didn't think it's a contributor to our ability to segregate ideologically. Once you say "fuck that guy" you're pretty much done listening to him or anyone that says something similar. And once they're saying "fuck you", you're not going to come back with your most reasoned argument either. It's just one part of the problem, but it is part of the problem.

I don?t know why a pharmacist wouldn?t fill a legitimate prescription if they had the medication in stock. I also don?t know why Walgreens would employ somebody who wouldn?t do the job.

After the incident, Nicole reached out to her doctor, who, she says, was as surprised by the pharmacist?s refusal as she was. ?I don?t think he?d ever had that problem before,? she says. According to Nicole, her doctor asked for the pharmacist?s information and helped her to get the prescription filled at another branch. The experience left her in shock.

?I called and talked to a store manager and said I was upset,? she says. ?My brain wasn?t working [during the incident]. Once it was settled, and I had the prescription, and I was at home, then I thought [to call and ask for a manager]. When I talked to her, she was trying to figure out how to handle it, and she said she was sorry things weren?t followed the way they should be followed.?

Following Nicole?s complaint to Walgreens? corporate office and the Arizona Board of Pharmacy, Walgreens issued the following statement:

?After learning what happened, we reached out to the patient and apologized for how the situation was handled. To respect the sincerely held beliefs of our pharmacists while at the same time meeting the needs of our patients, our policy allows pharmacists to step away from filling a prescription for which they have a moral objection. At the same time, they are also required to refer the prescription to another pharmacist or manager on duty to meet the patient's needs in a timely manner. We are looking into the matter to ensure that our patients' needs are handled properly.

Good Housekeeping

I called Walgreen's myself. The matter is currently still under investigation by corporate, and no one was able to confirm whether Brian, the pharmacist in the story, is still employed.

Anyways, she got the med from another pharmacy, according to the story; but according the Walgreen statement policy/procedure would have been for Brian to have gotten another pharmacist to assist Nicole right on the spot.

Trump has never had a reasoned argument with anyone, neither have the 2-year-olds he's stocked his cabinet and agencies with.

He's a great example of the degradation of civility. He's like the poster child of it.

SO... consequently I don't give a fuck about people responding to them in kind.

they're all garbage. complete human refuse.

Trump himself has repeatedly threatened to sick his retarded supporters on other people, and made thinly veiled threats of violence.
