Jan 1 Bowl Games

FSU making some awful late hits going out of bounds that the refs are not calling.

I'm not watching every play; I did see one play on a fairly sideways pass that got good yardage then the receiver got smacked hard right at the sideline, and went flying a few yards out of bounds.

Just looked like the dude got popped and was sent flying.

Unless Jim Harbaugh has eligibility left and can play QB and catch passes you're going to be waiting for a while. He's going to get his teeth kicked in next Fall on October 17th in the Big Hole with the rest of the weasels.

It really is funny how the Harbaugh hire has Sparty nation in a tizzy..

There have been a couple of plays where the FSU backs have not let up as they were going out of bounds, throwing the Oregon players down a the outer edge of the red margin on the sideline. Seem a bit late to me.

Working both ways. They just let the Oregon DB mug a receiver. They could've called holding, illegal contact our pass interference in the same dude, they elected to call none of them.

I really don't think it does. I mean, the guy had 1 really good season at Stanford right? Happened to be when Luck got there and they ended up playing an incredibly soft schedule. The only good team(Oregon) they played smoked them that year.

Maybe the guy ends up being great. But honestly, Rich Rod had a better college resume coming in.

Hell of a leg on that FSU kicker. He should get 1 pt for at least hitting the upright. lol

This.

Just. Wow.

This just reeks of insecure, desperate reasoning.

what's not FACT in that statement?

It's not about use of facts vs non facts, but rather your dismissal of his job at Stanford as something not all that great.

Stanford is probably the single most difficult program to succeed at in major college football. His teams got better every year culminating with a 1 loss season and top 10 finish. That is nothing to scoff at.

You don't think Cooks no look pass on the Pick was as bad as that block?

I disagree.

Ya both cook miscues in or near the red zone put sparty down big. Alot of dumb shit by baylor got them back in it. Was a good game to watch. Heck of a job by sparty.

I'll back up a bit from sounding too "anti-Harbaugh". He took over a program that was pretty much ran into the ground after Willingham left. Took his lumps for a few years before having some success in his 3rd year. Just pointing out that that breakout season also included a kid named Andrew Luck.

There's clearly no Andrew Luck in this current group of UM qb's.

Harbaugh should be looking for 5th year transfer qb ' s.

Seriously, is there a team over the last 10 years that capitalizes on fuck ups better than Oregon?

You do realize that Harbaugh recruited Luck, don't you? Do you realize as well that Luck was a 4 star recruit? That Shane Morris and Malzone are both 4 star recruits? That luck was about the 5th or 6th rated QB in his class behind guys like Pryor, Christ, Gabbert, Manuel etc.? Do you realize that the reason Brady Hoke no longer has a job is because he failed to develop the exceptional talent that he recruited whereas Harbaugh developed the supposed 6th best QB in his class into the best NFL QB prospect since Manning?

Yeah, I'll take our guy.
