Between the 20s he was good. Same old good Stafford moving the chains for the most part.
However, in the redzone there were throws he made last year that he didn't make this year. They doubled Calvin more and definitely worked. 6 of Calvins first 8 TDs last year were in single coverage and Calvin had 3 long bomb TDS last year and only 1 this year. Doubles don't work on Calvin in the middle of the field because there is more vertical space. It's up to more of the other receivers to get open but the redzone is a tight area so Stafford is going to have to fine tune somethings(more touch and accuracy at times in the redzone) and make the most out of every throw in the redzone next year. This I think he can do.
Interceptions, 17 is unacceptable even with all the attempts. When you throw 41 TDs you get a pass for 16 ints especially with 10 of those ints when you have a bum finger. But he really needs to limit it to 10-12 no matter who is at receiver. Sometimes it's not his fault but sometimes it is. 3 of the 4 Arizona picks, Atlanta pick, Green Bay home pick not seeing Hayward, at Green Bay pick was a bad throw into a double, all 3 Rams picks.
Stafford is a good QB and he can easily fix the redzone issues and ints. He's not the reason the Lions went 4-12. But when he does fix his minor issues the Lions are going to win alot of games even if the defense and his weapons still suck. A 2011 like Stafford performance in 2013 fixes everything.
