Joe Haden released

And for the record, I agree the Lions should make the playoffs this season. Whether or not they will, remains to be seen.

I know the Lions have talent. I don't need you to inform me of that. So now you're saying my problem is I have doubt? Anyone with a sane rational mind has doubts about basically anything unless you're a zealot. Why would I have blind faith in something that has constantly let this entire city down time after time, year after year? I watch every game, and have paid money to attend games in person. I "deserve" just as much as any other fan does so get off your high horse.

Trolling again is obvious. Get a new gimmick.

Oh the Lions let you down. Well guess what that has nothing to do with 2014. Get over your emotions sally and go with the facts. Loaded with talent and good coaching. This is a playoff team. Leave your doubts for your monthly time.

I inform of you of the Lions talent. You shouldn't have doubts and you don't deserve to enjoy the Lions Super bowl season with your doubts. this is a playoff team. Get on the train or get off.
holy shit dude, that is the most retarded thing i've ever heard. i shouldn't have doubts because the great and powerful LKP says so. i want what you're smoking.

Flo gets signed - LKP spouts off about him being the 19th rated CB (in limited snaps) last year... "it's a great sign"
Flo gets released - LKP backpedals to say that it's because Greenwood is a better CB.

i don't give a crap about your opinion... i like to form my own opinions, and if my own opinions dictate that i have doubts about certain aspects of the team, then that's good enough for me. why can't you be ok with that? instead you try to shove your opinions down everyone's throat.

Zealot/troll....not sure which one describes you better at this point. "Those who ignore history, are doomed to repeat it."

Don't forget this gem:

Funny only four teams have two CBS who ranked top 25 last year in coverage right now
Seattle with Sherman and Maxwell
Cards with Peterson and Mathieu (nickel)
Giants with Rodgers Cromartie, Trumain McBride(backup) and Thurmond
And Detroit with Florence and Mathis.

HAHAHAHA. AWW MAN, No Florence anymore.

Your opinons are based on misinformation and your "emotions' of the Loins burning you in the past. I'm informing you of the facts so you can get a better opinion. You all have a shit misinformed negative opinion.

Greenwood stepped up. Doesn't mean Florence didn't have a good 2013. I'm right Florence was good and now a variable changed (Greenwoods play). I'm still right about Florence's potential for 2014.

Weird, did I miss Greenwood doing something productive in the NFL?

Slay was always the starter numbnuts. That was just a fun fact showing you how good Florence's 2013 was. Good for Vaugh and Greenwood playing better. Variables changed.

Yeah, Florence is incredible. Had such a good 2013. That's why the Lions cut him.

Makes sense. Keep backpedaling.

That's not why the Lions cut him. They cut him because Greenwood stepped up. Great for Detroit. Not backpedaling I'm still right. Good for Detroit with so many great CB options.

My opinion is not negative. I believe the Lions are a playoff team just like you. Just because I don't believe 100% that they will absolutely definitely without any question positively make the playoffs does not make it a negative opinion. It just means we're not zealots and think more realistically. To deny our emotions is to deny what makes us human. Plenty of Lions teams have had lots of talent in the past. What do we have to show for it? One playoff win? Yeehaw. History teaches us lessons. You choosing to ignore it just shows that you wish to remain ignorant.

2014 has nothing to do with Lions history. So you are wrong and to have doubts about that, that's just silly. This is a playoff team. There is no doubt about it.

There's doubt about whether any of us will even wake up alive tomorrow silly. There is always doubt. It just doesn't feed into your gimmick so it plays better to say you don't have any.

So what happened last year has no bearing on this year's team? Just throw it out the window we shouldn't even consider it? Even though we have a lot of the same players? We can't learn anything from last year's team?

first of all, fuck you for thinking anything about my opinions being wrong you self centered piece of shit. my opinions are mine, and mine alone. i'll gather my own information from unbiased sources.

i know what i saw last year, and don't care to hear your misinformed input. i know what i've seen from this year's pre-season. and now i know why pretty much everyone on this site thinks you're a troll (because nobody could possibly be that stupid and/or annoying).

i was fine with the pickup of Flo, he did have a good year last year. but i also know he's well past his prime and might not have much left in the tank. he was certainly worth kicking the tires on, and it didn't work out. i'm just amazed that you keep pushing your agenda about this so hard.

It has no bearing on 2014. Especially with the health and new weapons we have now. The coaching change alone pretty much changes everything. There are no players who did well in 2013 that should play badly all of a sudden. It could happen but doubtful. And the rookies should grow. 16 games of Tate and Ebron will be huge.

We don't start with 9 losses. We start 0-0 and a talented team that can beat anyone. The first 4 games are crucial though. They are the most iffy on the schedule. 3-1 would be nice.

Miami,Buffalo,Chicago,Tampa,Minnesota should be wins.

And they'll win a few tough ones (2-3 wins) out of at Min, Saints, at Atl in London, at Carolina, at Zona, at NE, at Chicago, at GB

10-11 wins should get them in and they can do damage once there.

You haven't gathered any good information. All my info is unbiased and based on facts. You have emotions and bullshit negative information. None of you have a clue why we lost 9 games you just blame Stafford like idiots. This is why your opinion sucks. And when the Lions win, you'll have to eat so much crow.

2013 has no bearing on how the Lions perform in 2014...ok fine I can sort of agree on that. It does not mean that we as fans can't develop opinions on the 2014 team based on what we saw last year. We saw "player x" perform last year...so we have an idea of what to expect from "player x" in 2014. If you stop with the over the top zealot routine and trolling, maybe we could have rational discussions. Somehow I don't see that happening.

All players xs did well or were rookies. Stafford did well, so did Bush, Calvin, Bell, the Oline (now healthy Sims), Suh, Fairley, Levy, Tulloch, Quin, Mathis. All did well.

Ansah, Taylor, Slay can grow. And Jones and Broyles return from injury.

Iheidgbo did good for Baltimore and Tate did well for Seattle. This team is full of good players. There is nothing to be negative about.
