Fangraphs does have a stat called "clutch". Clutch measures how well a player performs in high leverage situations. It's calculated as = (WPA / pLI) - WPA/LI

The only player worse than Justin Upton is Asdrubal Cabrera. Apologists will probably find a problem with this stat. And I am ambivalent towards this stat.
If you balance this data with the data I provided in the RBI thread, I don't know how anyone would consider Upton clutch. Given opportunities, he doesn't drive in runs at exceptional rate, nor does he excel in high leverage situations.
