Stafford had a better game than Rivers did.
holy shit! This is a crazy statement....even for you!

Get StartedStafford had a better game than Rivers did.
It didn't backfiire. Only 21% was Rivers over 10 yards. And Allen was wide open
Dink and dunk Rivers. Deep shots from Stafford. Calvin was doubled and Verett blanketed Tate.

See, I wish people would all just ignore him.
How can you possibly talk sense into someone that honestly believes THAT.
Fuck. This dude ruins every thread.
Just stop everyone. Just fuckin stop.
I told you what happened.
Detroit got screwed with Levy hurt along with Waddle/Warford. Tulloch and Mathis had one bad game. But you people act like it's the end of the world and our defense will be bottom in the league after one freaking game.
It's a road AFC loss. Who cares. We'll still go 11-5.
None of what you just wrote had ANYTHING to do with my point. NONE.
You said Stafford had a better game than Rivers.......which is as near FACTUALLY wrong as you can get when talking about a subjective matter.
You're an idiot. You bring NOTHING to any discussion other than stupidity.
I'm tired of you.
You are now, officially, on ignore.

This! I don't know who is dumber him or the people that argue with him.
It's the people who argue with him. We have one fuckin' guy on the board who is Mr. Positivity and people just can't take it. It absolutely drives them crazy. I don't get it. Can't we let one guy have a positive attitude all the time...just one???

So if I'm doing my math right with what you are giving me:
Stafford 30 attempts, 33 percent of them over 10 yards= 9.9 throws over 10 yards
Rivers 42 attempts, 21 percent of them over 10 yards= 8.82 throws over 10 yards
WOW, huge difference.
And what does "Allen was open, Calvin was not" mean? I'm sorry dude, the guy covering Calvin is a midget. Whether it's on the coaching staff, or Stafford failing to recognize that, he should be WAY more involved.

Calvin was double teamed all day, buddy. Weddle the safety was over the top on him consistently. Weddle is an All Pro. No way was he single covered
He's always doubled team.. Has been since birth. I don't want INT but maybe Matt still needs to target him. Trying different ways to get him the ball, a new plan .. throw to him behind the line of scrimmage or something? Of course that's on our brain dead OC.
Hasn't Calvin done a ton of damage against double, and sometimes triple teams? Why is he suddenly allergic to the ball with two guys on him? Isn't that why they are paying him so much money, to beat double teams?
Yes, the schemes suck. A lot of the blame can be assigned to the coaches. But sometimes it's on the QB to say, "to hell with these playcalls, I'm calling an audible and throwing a bomb, maybe two, to Calvin."
It was exaggerated Mitch....it was closer to 3 guys on every play. A good qb would have exploited the 1 v 1s. But we have Stafford...so we didn't.
