Linebacker among stiffest competition in camp.

-- With Stephen Tulloch sidelined today, rookie Travis Lewis got some work at the Mike with the first team today. Lewis looked like a five-year veteran, calling the plays and barking out adjustments to his more experienced teammates. He also flashed some quickness that he failed to display leading to the draft, getting out to the flat and making a stop in the backfield on a screen pass.

Good to see that Lewis is playing well. Could turn out to be a big steal from the 7th round if he continues his good play.

Wasn't Lewis a tackling machine at Oklahoma?

Hidden gem? hmmmmmmmmmmmm? hmmmmmm?

Yeah, it's not like I forgot that. It's just nice to see him so far live up to being "a tackling machine" since we got him in the 7th round. Glad our scouts did their job.

I wasn't making fun of you, bro...i was agreeing with ya.

I loved the Lewis pick.

I really think Bentley could be special. But the others have also shown flashes. Thankfully we have finally been drafting players after the 4th rd who can actually develop and contribute.
