Linebacker among stiffest competition in camp.

Thank you.

Favorite is spelled the same...lol.

I too hate all men and you're damn right she's a Detroit sports fan (but she will be a Montreal fan...the onesy proves that). Going to the Lions game this Friday and probably buying her some Lions gear - pink of course ;)

Congrats. What's her name? Not sure if I missed that...

Congrats Tony...I hear ya about the sleep deprivation. Fortunately my son has been easy going and slept (mostly) through the night since he was 1 month old. May you have a similar experience as it makes it easy on you and you get to focus on all the positive moments that make being a dad so great!

So Whitehead and Lewis looked ok with the 2nd team on Friday. Whitehead missed some tackles though. That Messina looked good with the third string. Looks like Hogue is down to 3rd string since Travis Lewis is doing so well.

But Palmer is still the next man up. Durant missed Sunday with a foot and Palmer was the one who stepped in on the outside.

Congrats Tony! I have five, so if you want some more kids, let me know. I offer free shipping. Hehe.

Whitehead is fast. He did miss some tackle like you said and he looks pretty small. very raw but a ton of energy.

I like what i saw out of Ronnell Lewis. He was playing DE and looked real quick to the QB.

A bunch of quality LBs would be a lot nicer if Guns ever drew up some blitzes.

If they can at least improve on the run D this year that would make things much better. 0 wins when not scoring 21+ points last year? Not gonna cut it if this team wants to take the next step...

I could see him calling some blitzes with Whitehead considering his athleticism.

They have a pacakge 3 DL and Ronnel Lewis but it's not really a blitz, still 4 people. Hopefully Gunther either blitzes more or the Dline dominates more consistently than they did with the front 4 rotation.

I liked the pressure I saw from the 1st team on Friday. Baltimore should be a decent test too.

We don't agree on much CML.....but I COULD NOT agree with you more on this. Every fucking year I sit there screaming for us to blitz more. I will never understand, in todays game, why we just sit there and let teams pick us apart. Yes, occasionally our front four get there, but not often enough.....and certainly not often enough in our division against Rodgers and Cutler.

It's not just about sacks in this league.....it's about forcing decisions and making the QB make early/wrong/hurried throws.

-- With Stephen Tulloch sidelined today, rookie Travis Lewis got some work at the Mike with the first team today. Lewis looked like a five-year veteran, calling the plays and barking out adjustments to his more experienced teammates. He also flashed some quickness that he failed to display leading to the draft, getting out to the flat and making a stop in the backfield on a screen pass.

Good to see that Lewis is playing well. Could turn out to be a big steal from the 7th round if he continues his good play.
