Lion/Giants MNF

I'll be there!! And i invite the boys for a beer!! We can talk shop!! Throw punches at each other!! In all good fun....

If we don't, big troubles all season. Giants are terrible

If our secondary int any passes this season, this is the game to do it.

They need a confidence booster, hope you're right, Mitch.

Giants always start off bad don't they? in recent years anyway? Lions reported have one of the easiest home schedules this year and one of the toughest road schedules.

I've got the Lions projected to go 7-9 with this first one being one of the 7 wins.

Lions 27 Giants 23

Yeah, this is definitely a "should" win for the Lions. Giants have an entire new OL, and entire team is a shell of former greatness. Should be one of those blowout MNF games that only the victorious team and fans enjoy. Lions +21 IMHO.

28-20 Lions. I highly doubt there's a blowout either way. 21 points is a HUGE gap in the NFL.

Probably should win by 10 or more. We will do something dumb several times throughout the game to make it way closer than it should have been.

No fuckin' way man. This is the year of the beast..expect the defense to go 17 points or less every game.

The return of Chris "Sherman" Greenwood.

42-6 Lions.

A good friend of mine is a huge Gints fan. He's one of those guys that before the season starts all you hear is how awesome they are and the rest of us get daily updates from him on who's surpassing who on the depth chart and why the fourth string whatever could start on any other NFL team. Not a peep this year. I say "Beast (that's his nickname) you feeling okay bro? I haven't heard a single G-men Super Bowl Champs, watch out for our fifth string linebacker 'cause he's awesome, nothing. I'm worried about you." His response "No man...we're going to suck this year."

For him to say that is a testament to how awful the G-men really are this year. And if we lose to them....well I'm pouring all my Kool-Aid out.

I drank all my Kool-Aid praying for Pettigrew. Now all I have left is Haterade.

Yes! We got ink to change to the dark side!

Fraid not Hughes. I am neither a homer, nor a hater of the Lions. I'm a hater of Droptimus Prime.

I still think this team has enough talent to win the NFC North. Yes, our secondary blows. But WHO in the NFC North has a quality secondary?

Minny might have the best secondary in the North, and the rest of their Defense blows chunks.

We have an offense that could be better (could mind you) than either GB or Chit-Town, and a defense that in my opinion is better than Da Bears, The Pack without Raji, and Minny on pretty much every level.

By the same token, we were handed the division on a silver platter last season with both Cutler and Rodgers out... and couldn't win one lousy game to seal it up.

So.. am I a Lions believer? Nope, not until they prove it to me. They have the talent to prove it, but they may not have the fortitude to make that talent go anywhere.

I'm a wait and see Lions fan.

42-6 Lions..11-12 win season. Defense better than Seattle..Stafford, first pro bowl.
